Guest guest
Hi Candace, Are you waiting so that you can tincture your stuff? If so, at the risk of being sacrilegious, I would say to go for it anyway. We had a discussion on this list some months ago about the full moon / new moon in relation to tincturing, and it's my understand that that has to do with when you should pick the herbs for the tincture (and then tincture it immediately, of course). It's due to the natural "tides" of nutrients within the plants themselves and getting the most out of them for your tincture. Since your herbs are already picked, then why wait? You would still let the tincture "stew" for 2 weeks regardless. Anyway, if I've crossed the line with this one please let me know! LOL! I'm interpolating with the information from past discussions, but the more knowledgeable from this group may have something more to say on this. :)Kelli Candace Podratz [CandaceAndBrock] Friday, June 04, 2004 11:18 AMherbal_Remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - New Moon JUNE 17 20 27 The next new moon is the 17th.
