Guest guest
If you are making something for external use only can you use rubbing alcohol? I read where Dr. Christopher in a pinch used it and he was successful. Has any one here done it ? Btw, I just put up my Male Formula tincture and it will set till the end of the month. One more thing. my wife heard about the formula for TT and thought it sounded familiar. It turned out she had bought a product from an ND friend of ours called, Flu Buster, and 2oz sold for $25. You can make 2 or 3 gallons of TT for that much. Waymon

Jethro Kloss has agreat recipe for a disinfecting liniment, great for poison ivy, boils , pimples, weeping areas, and rashes. 1 ounce goldenseal root 1 ounce myrrh gum 1/4 ounce cayenne 1/2 to 1 pint rubbing alcohol tincture to 2 weeks. Guest guest
Would this tincture be good for cystic acne? To do what exactly, clear it up heal a boil or just disinfect it? And can the cayenne be a specific kind or just the kind you buy at the grocery store? liz vegastrish [trishadan] Friday, June 04, 2004 2:00 PM herbal remedies Herbal Remedies - Re: Tincture Question (Yet Again) HI Waymon, The answer is " yes " . I just got this video set on Ebay, that shows how to make quite a few remedies. I noticed on a site that sells, Dr. Christopher formulas that it sells for $140. Here's the description of it: This outstanding four hour double video set and laboratory reference manual teaches you how to make salves, tinctures, extracts, liniments, oils, ointments, cough syrups, glycerites, lozenges, oxymels, powders, electuaries, suppositories, skin care products and much more. It covers wildcrafting, preservation and storage techniques and includes a therapy section which teaches you how to make poultices, packs, fomentations, plasters, steam baths and other natural therapies. I got it for considerably less. I'll be able to " interact " with it. This was a big score! Waymon
