I would transfer to glass myself. Some companies ship in plastic to save money.

My herbs got here this morning, one question, though....

My cold pressed extra virgin olive oil came in a plastic bottle.

Does that matter? I thought glass was always better.

My herbs came in little plastic baggies, too.

Hey, congrats on having the supplies!!

I would feel better with the olive oil in a glass jar, but honestly, I still use plastic baggies for LOTS (too many!) of things.

Yeah, now I have to wait for the New Moon (the 17th) to START making my tinctures! Waaaah!

I shall be patient.

Candace

I think I'll switch it to a glass jar. Even the cheap store bought non organic olive oil I have came in a glass jar. Sheesh! Maybe I'll dump it out and use that jar. LOL

At least once a week, i pour about 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil

and TT or gralic onto puppy's wetfood. Along with the garlic, he

laps it up no problems.

Just trying to make sure he stays clean and regular too. Now that

the non organic Olive Oil is gone, i give him organic. When i have

money, i give them Cod Liver Oil

It still baffles me that dogs will eat vegetables, garlic etc. I still

haven't tried just giving it to them, I'll have to do that.

My dogs won't eat the fruit mash...lol...my little girl took a bit of it thinking she was getting something special...and of course trying to beat my big boy to something so that he couldn't get it...but after that initial bite...she wouldn't touch it...lol...my big boy sniffed at it a while...licked it a time or two...but that was it...I keep trying with different combinations but they don't seem interested in any fruits...vegetables on the other hand...they love...well my girl loves slightly...then again I can barely get her to eat chicken backs and pork neck bones...my boy ends up taking them from her...getting very frustrated with her...she helps herself to the cat food though! Although the cat food is not too much different than the dog stuff I put together...so I'm not sure why she won't eat hers but will eat out of the cat bowl...hmmmm...

It's a weird jealousy thing. My cat wont drink from her water bowl

when i refill it, but the second i put puppy's water dish down, (and

it huge in comparison to her) she runs to lap at it before the puppy

can, and makes him wait. The puppy will eat all of the cat food and

water so i had to put them up on the dryer so that the cats could

have free acess to food and water when they want it.

The dog doesnt like some pulp, orange for instance, wont eat it at

all. Carrot he will eat in moderation. If i give it everyday, he

wont eat it, and it has to be MIXED in, so that he doesnt just eat

carrot. Apple pulp on the other hand he will gobble right up.

If i really want him to eat it, i mix it into the wet food with the

garlic and olive oil. Hubby laughs because i call it puppy stew.

I call mine doggy and kitty mush! lol I usually fix my cats and dogs a mixture of ground meat with either brown rice or oatmeal...depending on what I have on hand...I throw in some mashed veggies in both...the cats I have to make sure it is just a little or they won't touch it. My big dog I can put larger sized pieces and he will eat them....but my little girl has to have hers like the cats...I will often mix half ground meat and half tuna or some other type of fish in with the cats food...again it depends on what i have on hand...I will put flax seed into both a couple of times a week...as well as a raw egg here and there...I put some TT in each of their bowls with each meal...just enough not to give them a flavor but enough to be useful...I will also make an infusion of burdock and red clover and put that into my big dogs food when I have them...since he has skin issues. Every morning they also get raw bones...so I guess my animals are pretty spoiled huh? lol
