Sorry, I thought there might be more on the Epley website and I was too

lazy/busy to describe it.

Don't buy the CD, this is FREE!

This works IF the dizzyness is caused by BPV, Benign Positional Vertigo, caused

by little crystals

in the inner ear. It is an age thing. The exercises work by rolling the little

tidbits that cause the trouble into a corner and out of the way.

Trumpet roll please, The Epley Exercises, as described on page 341 of Barbara

Kingsolver's

wonderful novel " Prodigal Summer " .

The parts in quotation marks are direct quotes. Since Barbara K. is the kindest

generous

soul I don't think she'll mind.

The scene features a log and a helper. If you are alone lie on your back on your

bed with your head hanging down off the end.

Question: " Do you get it in bed too, lying on your back? And it wakes you up if

you roll over in your sleep? "

" Turn your head to the side, as far as it will go. Let it drop backward a

little, down off to the side " . This will make you feel really dizzy but it is

part of the process.

" Stay there if you can stand it, just hold right still till it stops " . This may

take one or two minutes.

" Now, roll your head straight back till it starts up again. Don't be scared. Go

slow, and freeze

when it hits you. " " .....he passed through one more bout of dizziness, then

turned his head and endured

another. " " You're almost done. Now...(snip) Sit straight up and tilt forward

like this. She put her chin

on her chest to demonstrate. " " She helped lift him back to a sitting position

and guided his head forward. He waited, feeling a strange sensation of

reassembly in his head. When it passed he

relaxed his shoulders, raised his head, and looked around at a world that seemed

to have been made new. "

The exercises may have to be repeated, more often in the beginning.

Now Sue, if you feel light-headed and cobwebby, all the time, that sounds less

like BPV and more like Candida, and that is a whole other ballgame....Check the

files, there is tons of information on Candida already.

Best wishes,
