Guest guest
I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions about detoxing after having some amalgam fillings removed. I have read many of the other posts but I am currently breastfeeding. My baby is six months olds and I am concerned about protecting her health. My body feels toxic but I don't want to start a cleanse that might jeopardize her. If there is a safe way to do it, what is it?
Guest guest
In general if you are breastfeeding, it's prudent to approach the matter through diet. I would not, if i were you, do anything that would move toxins out of the body drastically as they will most certainly come through your breast milk. However, if you are feeling toxic there are many things you can do, obviously eating a whole foods, mostly plant based diet will go along way to reducing and eliminating toxins. Of the culinary herbs, cilantro and parsley would be something you might want to add to your diet as they scavange metals. The other thing you may want to do is to enlist a regular sweaty exercise protocol. Would be best not to breastfeed immediately after exercising, and of course drink plenty of water. Lastly, get a massage, this will help the body to naturally deal with residual toxins. Whatever you do, trust that your body knows how to cope and manage whatever is going on and you'll be great.
