Guest guest
Not such a good idea as the antibiotics kill off the probiotics, but not bad either, just a waste of probiotics. Instead, wait until the antibiotics have finished the course. Then for your 93 lb daughter, I'd start with 5 of the 3 billion count acidophilous with a meal that includes some milk products - milk, cheese, etc. (The army needs feeding.) If not a lot of gas and cramping, on the 3rd ay, increase to 10, and then dose 10 capsules every other day for three more times. By then, her stool should be very light in color, and not as smelly. It should be a yellowish or orangy brown. Dark and smelly are signs of poor gut flora and fauna and perhaps a yeast invasion. Stool watching isn't pleasant to think about, but it's a good indication of gut health. -- Phil Bate PhD http://drbate.com - Free Alternate Health Advice Neuroliminal Training (NT) helps solve mental problems without drugs at low cost.
