Guest guest
How much validity is there to eating foods in combination to optimize their nutritional value? Some food combinations make sense like eating fish or meat with fat to help the body utilize the proteins or whatever or rice and beans together which supposedly make a complete protein. Other proposed combinations seem much less credible like combining certain fruits or vegetables or consuming certain fruits alone because of their acidic content. It seems that any combination of fruits or vegetables would be healthy. Variety and meeting deficiencies seem to be the important considerations with consuming fruits and vegetables not certain combinations to optimize nutritional value. Thanks for any replies.
