Guest guest
Hi all, I'm far from an authority on this topic but I found and saved this recipe a few years back. I'm not sure who wrote it. It may have even come from this group. I haven't tried it, but I thought it sounded good enough to keep in my files. Thought I would pass it on. Michelle http://www.HolisticMenopause.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RECIPE TO REMOVE HEAVY METALS Heavy metal poisoning is rampant. It is a major cause of hormonal imbalances cancer, thyroid problems, neurological disturbances, learning problems, depression, food allergies, parasites, etc. etc. This is a great recipe that is not only easy to make but also really yummy! It is truly a healing food. One friend suffering from high blood pressure due mercury poisoning had her blood pressure return to normal after eating 2 teaspoons of this pesto daily for only a week. So whether you need to detoxify heavy metals from your body or just wish to use it as a preventative measure, 2 teaspoons a day is all you need to take. This pesto has now become a regular in my diet. Enjoy! 4 cloves garlic 1/3 cup Brazil nuts (selenium) 1/3 cup sunflower seeds (cysteine) 2 cups packed fresh coriander (cilantro, Chinese parsley) (vitamin A) 2/3 cup flaxseed oil 4 tablespoons lemon juice (vitamin C) 2 tsp dulse powder liquid aminos Process the coriander and flaxseed oil in a blender until the coriander is chopped. Add the garlic, nuts and seeds, dulse and lemon juice and mix until the mixture is finely blended into a paste. Add a squirt of Bragg's to taste and blend again. Store in dark glass jars if possible. It freezes well, so purchase coriander in season and fill enough jars to last through the year. Coriander has been proven to chelate toxic metals from our bodies in a relatively short period of time. Combined with the benefits of the other ingredients, this recipe is a powerful tissue cleanser. Two teaspoons of this pesto daily for three weeks is purportedly enough to increase the urinary excretion of mercury, lead and aluminum, thus effectively removing these toxic metals from our bodies. We can consider doing this cleanse for three weeks at least once a year. It is delicious on toast, baked potatoes and pasta.
Guest guest
Don't even think about this if you have an overload of mercury. It can cause more damage than it will do good. Cilantro will move metals, not chelate them. If the organs aren't capable of processing the mercury it will simply be redeposited elsewhere. One of my friends is still on disability after using cilantro tincture with existing metal in her mouth. While it is uncommon, it's not really worth the risk. To put a bit of cilantro on your food for flavor is not going to hurt but a few spoons of concentrated cilantro as is in the pesto or using tincture could cause irreversible harm. The recipe is quite tasty though if you don't have a mercury overload. I've made it but with olive oil. Most flax you buy in the store is rancid. It breaks down very quickly. Guest guest
Thanks so much for writing this recipe. It feels like it could be really great....and taste nice at the same time! Can you please tell me what dulse powder is? With thanks Diana Moore http://www.bowentherapy.homestead.com
Guest guest
Thanks but: ATTENTION, DO NOT take cilantro without Chlorella and other chelators. Cilantro will only mobilize the metal. It will not remove lead from the body but chlorella will. Chlorella will only absorb the metal from the gut but it will not enter the blood stream. “Cilantro should be used only after a good chelation program has been under way for some time. Cilantro can enter the brain and peripheral nerves and remove mercury. But unknown to most, cilantro can also take mercury into the brain. This is why it is critically important to use cilantro only after most of the mercury has been removed from the rest of the body. Do not use cilantro until at least 60 days has elapsed on any oral chelation program Therefore cilantro and chlorella alone are not enough. They should be combined with other natural chelators like modified frut pectin, alpha lipoic acid, NAC and clay baths. Natural chelation works great for someone who does not have toxic levels of lead in their body. DO NOT take cilantro at all if you have toxic levels. Cilantro allows metal to cross the blood brain barrier and has known to cause neurologigal problems and paralization in those with serious lead poisoning. Guest guest
OH my gosh.I made this recipe yesterday and I can't stop eating it - it is SO good! I didn't know what dulse powder was either, but found from the local health food store that it is more or less kelp/seaweed. I wound up buying kelp capsules and taking them apart. It worked just fine albeit a bit more work. I wonder if it's a bad thing to eat an entire batch at once ;o) ?!?!?! _____ On Behalf Of Diana Moore Friday, April 10, 2009 3:45 PM Re: RECIPE TO REMOVE HEAVY METALS Thanks so much for writing this recipe. Guest guest
WOW. I had no idea! Now I'm sorry I even posted this! Thanks to you wise people here who made it clear that this isn't such a good idea. Think I'll just delete it from my files. Standing corrected, Michelle

Guest guest
Is dulse for detoxing heavy metals? If so, there's something I forgot to say: while you have got amalgam fillings in (according to Klinghardt) any detox regime for heavy metals will also leach the heavy metals out of the amalgams. So you will be worse off for detoxing at this time. You will just be flooding your body with toxins. Lisa, if you got my private message you will know I suggested you go on www.neuraltherapy.com I find Klinghardt's website a bit difficult to get around at the moment, but if you put " 30 years " in to his search engine and then scroll down about 1/2 way you will find a section on chlorella which is different from the section called " chlorella " on the homepage. I think this contains the info. I was offering. I can't advise on alternative materials, because all I know is that kinesaeologists (may be spelt wrong) say that everyone's different and you have to take samples from your dentist to get them tested for you personally. The trouble is that there are thousands of different brands (hundreds, or thousands?) all producing slightly different filling materials, and every dentist uses only a small selection of these. My dentist says all filling materials are toxic, so you just have to choose the least harmful to you personally. I did not bother to do this in the end, and just decided to go with what he generally uses. I think Klinghardt says that glass ionomer fillings are the least toxic but my dentist didn't agree if I remember right, so I just got fed up. 'iherb' is a great company and I get things from there even in Britain. I copied that bit about mercury amalgam fillings, from a posting I made to a British group. I should not have included the sentence about advising on sources of chlorella, because that was for purchasers in Britain (also called the UK). If you can't find what you want from Klinghardt's website, drop me a private note. I can give a summary of doses (he suggests a regular wave, decreasing and increasing.). I think he says that chlorella can be taken while you still have amalgam fillings, because it is so good at taking the toxins right out of the body. Other things tend to release the toxins from deep in the flesh (and from the amalgams) into the bloodstream - but where then? Chlorella does not take toxins out of the brain, for that you need Chinese parsley (otherwise called Cilantro, or coriander), but this must never be taken separately from chlorella, for the reason mentioned in the above paragraph. Chinese Parsley is extremely powerful, so you don't need much of it.
