Guest guest
Just don't give it anything comercial; i think they suggest Novocaine at pharmacies but it can numb the throat as well... very dangerous..... Health stores sell some homeopathics for teething; its usually the first 1-2 teeth that hurt and then babies get used to it and most of them don't cry. We went through few sleepless nights.....we were worried so much about any medicine that we just let it run its course. Good luck. --- On Tue, 3/31/09, Mercurius Trismegistus <magisterium_magnum wrote: Mercurius Trismegistus <magisterium_magnum Teething Cc: Chinese Traditional Medicine , herbal_remedies , ThymeforHerbsandAromatherapy , DrClark Tuesday, March 31, 2009, 5:04 PM Any good recommendations for a teething baby? Guest guest
I have all sorts of suggestions on teething! First, try Hyland's teething tablets. They are homeopathic and are great. They really help with drool. Second, depending on the age of your little one, allow them to chew on something cold or frozen - like a frozen chew toy or a banana. My daughter is two now and cutting her 2 year molars and loves frozen blueberries. Nutrition and relief at the same time, you can't beat that. And I have to say, there were times we broke down and gave a little teething gel or Tylenol. One of the tell-tale things for us that she was cutting teeth was a small fever, so those things helped. Just my two cents. Paula
