Hi I'm a new member to the group. I am interested in learning more about

complementary therapy for cancer. I am currently undergoing chemo. I

have 2 more sessions to go. I'm doing well but am interested in

additional advice to strengthen my immune system. Especially after the

chemo is done.

The fastest way to build your immune system is to take Beta Glucan B1,3 / B1,6

which builds your white blood cells in your bone marrow. It's made from yeast,

so it's not harmful at all. I took it while doing chemo so that they wouldn't

postpone my chemo sessions due to low blood cell counts. You can find this at

any of the online websites or at a good health food store. Let me know if you

have any questions and good luck to you!

I took acupuncture through my chemo and radiation. I not only never

got sick and had extra energy, I felt better on chemo than I have felt

in years.

It has been a year and half now and still feel better than I ever

have, added weight (which I needed) and now go for acupuncture when

something comes up (sinuses) but plan on eventually only doing Spring

and Fall " tune-ups " .

I am convinced it made a big difference in my treatment and in my

recovery.
