Guest guest
I can tell you I had a hysterectomy back in the ninties for the very same thing and I do not regret it one minute. I did have to take estrogen for a tim but got off it as soon as I could. I do not take anything now, but there are herbal suppliments that you can take in place of the estrogen. The choice is up to you though and what feels right for you. We are all different. Guest guest
Hi, Yep, I totally think so. I had one 4 years ago and I have not been sorry. I also had fibroids and very painfull, long, heavy cycles. I do not miss any of it. I did have the doc leave my ovaries so I would not go into full blown menopause. Hope this helps. Guest guest
I had a hysterectomy because of fibroid tumors, about 30 years ago, before I knew anything about nutrition and taking responsibility for my own health. I blindly followed all doctors orders and had them cut me open. If I knew then when I know now, I would never go under a surgeon's knife. You can stop feeding the tumors - eliminate ALL sugars from your diet, including artificial ones. Eat more fruits and veggies - all raw if possible. Eliminate meat and dairy and all things junk. Add whole food supplements to your diet as you may be lacking in trace minerals (most people are). Guest guest
I had a partial hysto over 40 years ago due to a prolapsed uterus (lots of children in a short span of time) and it's the best thing I have ever done for myself. I have not taken HRP, then or now, and for someone like myself that became pregnant at the drop of a hat, it was absolutely the best solution. At the time there were global warnings about overpopulation and I was happy to do my part J Abundant Blessings, Cynthia
Guest guest
Sometimes, it's necessary to have a hysterectomy such as in the case of cancer or fibroids that are so huge they are painful. But, there are far too many unnecessary hysterectomies performed. Fibroids and endo are caused by an excess of estrogens in your body. As you get closer to actual menopause (12 full months without a cycle) estrogen levels drop and fibroids naturally shrink. I don't know your age, but that could be awhile! A high quality progesterone cream is very helpful. Or, Peruvian Maca if you don't feel comfy with progesterone. Each will help balance hormones and lower estrogen levels. Vitex works too, but it's a very slow approach and many women don't get results with it at all, so I don't usually recommend it. Eat high fiber foods. Avoid dairy products, red meat, fried fatty foods, sugar, salt, caffeine, and alcohol. If you do use meat, poultry or dairy, be sure it's organic, hormone free to avoid hormones. DO NOT eat soy products. Avoid them altogether. They increase estrogen in the body and you don't need that! Closer to menopause, fermented, organic, NON-GMO soy in moderation can be helpful, but not when you are estrogen dominant. Drink more pure water. Use castor oil packs. They are great for fibroids and endo! Here's a good YouTube video demonstration: Hang in there!
