I was thinking of adding vegetable juice to my diet on a regular basis. Is

there one at the grocery store that is good? I do like V8 but I'm not sure of

the ingredients because I haven't drank it in a long time. Is veggie juice

supposed to taste good? Thanks, Genevive

Hi Genevive!

Vegtable juice can taste awesome! I make my own vegitable smoothie several

times a week in a Vita Mix. That is a super powered blender that I bought

several months ago. Unfortunately there are a lot of bad things in V8, like

preservatives, tons of salt and sugaar. If you're interested in making your own

I can direct you to someone who can tell you about the vita mix.

Any canned juice like that will contain alot of salt.

Traditional contraindicates too much raw foods, btw.

Depletes spleen qi, which is important for digestion, metabolism and holding

things in place.

It can taste very good! If you do carrots, celery as a basic foundation you can

vary adding spinach, kale, a little beet, etc. Then some fruit is nice to add

to it just before drinking...apple, orange, grapefruit, berries... do organic!

V8 is such a tomatoeee (:)) inferior comparison.

Thanks for all your help. I was talking with my husband and he said he'd rather

buy a juicer than buy veggie juice in bottle. So we are going to look into

that. Genevive
