Guest guest
Mira, You speaking of apple cidar vinegar made me think, one night last week, my B/P went up to 180/80. I swallowed two tablespoons of organic apple cidar vinegar to bring it down as I read from someone in the group talk about it. My word, it almost curled my toes just to get it down. In about two hours when I checked my B/P, it had dropped down to 130/60. I take Nephedepin every morning for my B/P but am thinking of taking the apple cidar instead. Can anyone tell me if it would hurt to mix it with water or juice? J. Mc ================================================================================\ ========== 1b. Our diet is 100% organic, we make most of our cleaning and personal products and try to choose very wisely when buying products we don't make. We are 100% vegan as well. I'm thinking that I do need to pay more attention to the pH of my body. I take about a tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar in the morning with a glass of water on an empty stomach. Do you have any other suggestions? As for maintaining the flora in the gut, I'm probably not so attentive. My supplements have probiotics and I eat some raw organic sauerkraut every day. What else can I do besides yogurt? As for exercise, I practice yoga in addition to being a yoga teacher. What can the Rebounder do that an intense yoga practice can not do? Thanks so much for your help! Mira Jacquin www.philippejacquin.com
Guest guest
I'm fairly new to the group, I didn't know apple cider vinegar was good for lowering BP. My husband takes it for Gerd and it's also good for acid reflux. Yes, you can take it in water. That's how my husband takes it. Guest guest
I mix 8 oz each of organic apple cider vinegar and organic honey with 8 cloves of peeled raw garlic in a blender then store in a glass jar in refrigerator for 2 weeks. When I take a tablespoon of this mixture in the morning with some juice (usually cranapple), my arthritis pain is greatly reduced during the day and when I have checked my BP before and after, that reading is slightly reduced. Guest guest
I take apple cider vinegar for a different reason. I take it for calcification in cervical spondylosis and degenerative disc disease. I mix one tablespoon of ACV in one cup of apple juice and then add hydrangea root tincture to that for my problem. I have also mixed it with water.. Hope this helps. DM In a message dated 3/18/2009 7:52:03 A.M. Guest guest
I would experiment and see if you have the same results. Right now I drink it straight also but because I am trying to dissolve gallstones. --- On Wed, 3/18/09, Joyce McCrary <j.mccrary wrote: Joyce McCrary <j.mccrary Apple Cidar Vinegar Wednesday, March 18, 2009, 12:49 AM Mira, You speaking of apple cidar vinegar made me think, one night last week, my B/P went up to 180/80. Guest guest
Can anyone tell me if it would hurt to mix it with water or juice? > No, that won't hurt, and that is usually the way people take it! It is pretty hard to take straight. For variation try it with honey and hot water.
