Guest guest
I had to take my kids to the dentist today for their cleanings and I opted out of the flouride treatment and the assistants were shocked. They tried to get me to get the flouride but I didn't, the assistants were saying that it is good for the teeth. I'm not so sure about this after all I've been reading on flouride and how bad it is. Does anyone have any input on this? Thanks, Genevive
Guest guest
Good choice. Do you use non-fluoridated toothpaste? There are many good for you and readily available toothpastes to choose from now. My fave brand is Green Beaver. Fluoride is a waste by-product of the fertilizer and aluminum industry and it's also a Part II Poison under the UK Poisons Act 1972.- Fluoride is one of the basic ingredients in Sarin nerve gas (Isopropyl-Methyl-Phosphoryl Fluoride). - the Soviets openly admitted to " Using the fluoride in the water supplies in their concentration camps, to make the prisoners stupid, docile, and subservient. " - The first occurrence of fluoridated drinking water on Earth was found in Germany's Nazi prison camps. - Especially unnerving is the recent finding that fluoride coats and adversely affects the pineal gland. Guest guest
*NO MEDICAL BACKGROUND WHATSOEVER* we have jest been forced poisoned...opps i meant fluoridated (thankyou dictactor blight, damn...i meant premier bligh) so i've done ALOT of reading on the topic. flourine (elemental) appears to be a nasty little element and flouride isn't much better. they claim low topical doses over a long period are beneficial but i've not read anything scientific / statistical to support this. statistical analysis from many countries shows this to be a farce. what i have read (including a report from our own government) is that long term exposure causes and is link to severe disease with a wide range of difference. there are ALOT of articles out there, some are scare scaremongering, others are blatant propaganda lies. good information is hard to find. the decent and supported information i have found though screams that it is a bad idea. hamish , " genevive32 " <genevive32 wrote: > > I had to take my kids to the dentist today for their cleanings and I opted out of the flouride treatment and the assistants were shocked. Guest guest
I feel for you. I've resigned myself to the fact that people will look at me like I'm crazy when I refuse such common treatments! But I have my health - and most of the time all they have are their drugs. It is difficult to find recent reputable studies on the dangers of fluoride. No doubt the EPA and FDA are hard at work suppressing such information, since they really work for big corporations. Certain corporations produce large amounts of toxic fluoride waste. Instead of paying to properly dispose of it, they actually sell it to wastewater plants as a helpful, healthful ingredient. Here's a detailed article on how fluoride came to be in our public water supply: http://ahealedplanet.net/fluoride.htm And here's another article that gives references to some older studies as well as a good summary on fluoride health issues: http://www.health-science.com/fluoride_toxicity.html It has been linked to immune system suppression, certain cancers, Alzheimer's Disease, and overall general toxicity. And fluoride doesn't strengthen bones and teeth. It does increase bone density (so the bones do end up being thicker), but it actually ends up making them more brittle. It's a jungle out there...good luck to you. Guest guest
One girl at the dentist office said that she wanted more flouride for herself, I just looked at her thinking to myself are you crazy? The other girl was boring me with her talk on her 30 page report on flouride that she did in college and she said that you have good and bad in everything. And they also were trying to convince me that if you take the flouride in small amounts it's ok. So when the dentist came in he said to me so you're not getting the flouride today and I said no and he looked at me and said ok. It was almost like he knew something or just didn't want to try to convince me. I have a hard time trusting doctors and dentists and such because of what the baby vaccines have done to my daughter (ADHD). I'm really skeptic now. Thank goodness that she is seeing a real doctor now....a naturopathy doctor. Unfortunately I do use toothpaste with flouride but I'm going to our whole foods coop in the next few days and will look for the non flouride toothpaste there. Thanks for all your help. Guest guest
Genevive Sweetie, If I might add one more thing for you to do when you go to that Whole Food Co-op; Make sure you look at the label on the non-floride toothpaste. If there is ANYTHING on the lable you're not sure, get a 1st opinion, then a 2nd & maybe even a 3rd. Some of the things the companies put in stuff just to replace it with something else just as bad. I remember when the soda pop companies took out the sugar in their products just to replace it with sodium.....SALT. Yeah, isn't that a kicker. [ Maybe that's why I drink only the straight Pepsi. [] If we have a fairly good diet, we do NOT need added salt and overdose amounts can do GREAT harm, especially to children. So watch & Study that toothpaste label good.
