Guest guest
Hi Molly, Welcome to the group. I have a suggestion for you. You are mentioning a disease, and a Western way of approaching the disease, and that is fine for some problems, especially acute situations, but a newer paradigm might be to discover the roots of what may be " causing " the disease. Other forms of healing include herbs, acupuncture, and energy healing. Each of these has an entire framework of how health and disease occur in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body, and each practitioner will have his or her own approach, but basically, the beginning would be uncovering what is off balance internally or physically and working from there. For example, the problem you mentioned, from MY frame of reference, as an energy healer, would include a thorough examination of the first and second chakras. From an acupuncturist viewpoint, they would look for areas of blocked or stagnant energy along the meridians that feed that system, and from an herbalist vantage, there are specific herbs that support a woman's reproductive system that may be useful, with the herbs themselves providing nourishment and healing vibrational energy that can help shift your body into a state of health. They all work, and there are others, but the process is designed to take a few weeks, or even months or years of healing for long term chronic conditions. You have an advantage of being young, and that often means a faster process of healing. Older people sometimes have condition on top of condition that need to be healed, and the rigidity of thinking, habits and belief systems are often difficult to change or alter, and sometimes, a huge crisis is what is needed for the person to make any lifestyle changes. An example of this would be a heart attack. Lots of changes for some people after an event like that. In your case, you have a diagnosis and ongoing medical support and testing, so you may want to look for additional players for your medical team, from an alternative or complementary perspective. Always look for a team player, not someone who says they can perform miracles overnight.
