Guest guest
Has anyone tried the Ionized Foot Detox baths? I was considering buying a DETOX ION IONIC AQUA FOOT BATH SPA CHI CLEANSE FIR BELT but noticed this are considerably cheaper than the professional ones. Do they work as well and are they safe? I noticed the people selling the really expensive ones warn not to buy the cheaper ones..but is that just so you will buy there ones? I would like to hear from anyone who has tried or buyed one and what you thought. Guest guest
It is important to do some indepth research before spending good cash on this kind of thing.. To me the thought of pulling toxins out of my gall bladder or liver and having these toxins travel through my circulatory system to reach my feet, scares the beejesus out of me... Happily, I have yet to find any evidence that this even works... http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/id/QAA400147 Hopefully this link will work and you can't start asking questions to help you in decision. Guest guest
Diana, 1st off, of course " Beware of cheap imitations, buy ours instead " is what's said. They want the profit from the sale of " Their's " , @ their inflated price. 2ndly; We here in the Salt Lake area have a consumer reporter for the local CBS station and they had " Bill buy it & try it " . The results of the test was ALL negitive. Didn't work. Now I guess there are lots of people that have purchased them & probibly swear by them so I guess if you want to try them, good luck. Besides, the mind has great power so if someone THINKS they will work, they do. ON THE OTHER HAND............... Merlin
Guest guest
Diana, I own an Aqua Chi and have had excellent results with it. I bought without even shopping around or even knowing there were other brands out there based on my breathing capacity after one session in the bath at my friend's place. She used to be a professional athlete before she had an accident that left her with brain damage and fibromyalgia. She spent a fortune over a course of years trying to get well. The Aqua Chi is what she gives the most credit to for reversing her pain. She admits she didn't drink enough water either. Lack of water causes acid build-up in the muscles and joints. I don't know if this is true or not since I've not seen any evidence for it but it makes sense in a way but here's what a health practitioner told me: When a person has an accident and develops fibromyalgia it's because the body in one instant dumps toxins out of the cells and the body becomes so overloaded with toxins that the organs can't deal with it. It then gets redeposited back into the body. Some people get fibro slowly when the body is filled with everyday toxins gradually until it reaches overload and goes on strike. That's what happened to my Mom. She was exposed to some bad chemicals in her teens, developed migraines and later on in life, fibromyalgia. I gave her about 20 Aqua Chi sessions. Her fibro was gone after that. It just recently started coming back so I'll need to start giving her some more sessions but it was gone for several years. Ideally a person should do about 10 treatments to get " charged up " properly, 2-3 times a week and then do a session now and again as needed. I typically suggest 3 in a row in spring or after X-mas when people are feeling lousy. Many practitioners recommend them weekly. I don't think that's really necessary for most people. I bought mine from Canada. I don't think there's customs since it's an American product. They will give you a free phone consult as well. I purchase my replacement parts from the US which for some odd reason are cheaper--at least time I checked they were. That company has excellent service and distributor support, regular phone calls, etc. You can hear my testimonial on the site. I'm an affiliate as well but this program came out much later after I had my machine so I wasn't being biased when I gave my experience which is on page 5 of the testimonials. My other friend Hilda's is on there too. She's a naturopath and has two machines, one is another brand and she prefers the Aqua Chi: http://www.aquachifootbath.com/1/ionic.php?id=154 Yes, they're pricey but I think you will be pleased with it. I've had a few clients buy cheaper models off ebay and they came back to me. They had no results. The above website offers a 30 day money back guarantee. If you like you can contact me off-group with any questions. I have some photos as well. Best to use this email though since I don't check this my as much: detoxexpert @ gmail.com. I like that the foot bath is totally non-invasive, not harmful and people typically feel very good afterward; better sleep and energy the next few days. 3 sessions should be the minimum although some people who are very toxic may notice results after even one session. Guest guest
Hi- I had it done at a spa, preceded by a sauna. You could see the junk and metals in the bucket. Safe and non-invasive. Felt great for days. Dr. Stephen Jared ND http://www.bachchoiinvesting.com
Guest guest
I did a lot of internet research on these, and I was under the impression that these were not all they were advertised for. I certainly be wrong, and I hope someone can prove me wrong..becaust I want one. LOL One place I looked was on U Tube, and looked up ionic foot bath detox hoax saw one in particular who put a few on there, had put an organic carrot in the water and it had the same reaction as a foot. (1ladolcevita1 is the gentleman's id), Not that I believe everything I hear and see, but this compelled me to decide against buying one. I also learned that if you walk a salt beach, it does the same thing as ionized water. Not too good for those of us in the northeast right now, but good to know. I look forward to hearing more oft this thread. Jeanie

Guest guest
I LOVE my ionic detox footbath and wouldn't be without it! Yes, it's true that the water will turn a color even without feet in it. But, when you watch the difference with your feet, another persons feet or how it changes after you've had a few sessions, you'll know it's working. And, the results most people get are amazing. As for walking on a beach having the same affect... No way. It might feel good and the negative ions in the air are wonderful, but the combination of the water, current and minerals literally pull toxins from your feet. Walking on the beach can't do that! Guest guest
My mom, girlfriend and I went and had several ionic foot bath treatments and thought they were great. My mom's husband became very sick and was unable to travel to have a foot bath so the place we were going allowed her to take one home. This was very generous of them, but my mom's curiosity got the best of her and she decided to test out some of the hoaxes she had heard about as well. She ran the ionic bath once with her feet in it and once without. Using distilled water both times and the result was the SAME with our without her feet in there! In all fairness it does feel great to soak your feet in the warm water, but it's accuracy is definately questionable :-)
Guest guest
That is strange. The one I used gave different readings for 2 people. Maybe it is the brand? I Know I felt better. salma --- On Thu, 3/5/09, aliciahubartt <aliciahubartt wrote: aliciahubartt <aliciahubartt Re: Ionic Foot Detox Baths Thursday, March 5, 2009, 9:22 PM My mom, girlfriend and I went and had several ionic foot bath treatments and thought they were great. Guest guest
It's true, the water will turn color with or without your feet in it. But, the colors are significantly different. You will also find that each person that soaks their feet creates a different color, and each time you soak your own feet, it will be different. There are many variables, but I can assure you, they DO work! BTW, you should only use warm tap water. Not distilled or reverse osmosis water.
