Guest guest
Hello Haley, I have Graves disease with is a form of HypERthyroidism. When my numbers run too high, that's the way I get. I talk a mile a minute and feel very active, or jumpy. It's just a thought, but you may want to have your thyroid levels checked. Make sure you get FT4 and FT3. Every thing you described are symptoms for hyper thyroidism. feel free to email me off group if you want anymore information , " Haley " <haleydontcare wrote: > > Hi All > I just have joined this group amd sure hope to receive some good > advice//My problem is i feel keyed up and talk too much...I just feel > like i could scream i get so so nervous..I cant sleep, even if i feel > tired..I feel cold one minute and burn up the next..One doctor told me > i had generalized anxiety disorder..Does anyone have any words of hope > to me ..Is there anything anybody cansuggest i try for all these crazy > things i am going through? HELP PLEASE..Thank you very much,Haley > Hi, Although you didn't mention your age, women in perimenopause experience these same types of symptoms. The artificial hormones in commercial dairy foods tend to latch on to our own estrogen receptors replacing natural estrogens and creating a situation leading up to 'estrogen dominance. This can be reversed gradually over a period of time by reverting to an all natural organic diet with an emphasis on fresh raw foods with fewer refined carbs and more of the " nutrient dense " complex carbs which always provide more minerals and a slower release of nutrients into our bloodstreams - eliminating the highs and lows typically present in the consumption of more refined carbos. sugar-free products will tend to make anyone jittery, perhaps more so than the refined sugars, but when all is said and done I wouldn't offer either one to any of my family. Aspartame kills all your brain cells off. It is a gradual process, and slow but certain brain death! As slow and certain as alcoholic beverages. Actually aspartame is a form of alcohol and imparts the same chemical constituency as the moonshine the southerners pride themselves in making. I know there are still people who are consuming this poisionous substance but the facts reamin the same. The vast majority of them will end up on the psychiatrist's couch seeking another medical cure. There is no medical cure other than complete abstinence from the addictive stuff. A host of medicines are doled out because of our addiction to sweeteners, both refined and sugar free. When we experience the wonder of natural fruits and vegetables our taste for these intense sweeteners will gradually disappear as we learn to rely on the foods that our bodies were intended to embrace for their health giving components. Anything that man has tampered with typically takes about 37 days for our bodies to process. This is why these man made substances tend to wear down our immune systems and lead to so much chronic disease! The nerves are fed by vitamins, minerals and B vitamins which are not found in our standard american diet. If we are deficient in any one of the important minerals our bodies cannot process any of the vitamins or enzymes that are already present and our bodies just react by setting up more nervous reactions such as you've just described in your email. The food processors take out 26 minerals, put back 6 of them and call it " fortified " !! We need to just boycott them, take our business to the natural food markets and show them!! Their margarines, sugar, cookes and white bread I'm convinced led up to my heart disesase and wll the while I believed their false reports that " promise " margarines, mayonnaises, dairy foods and red meats were USDA approved and fine for my health and good for the heart. Because of the help and advice I received from a kind friend who knew the truth, I am alive today! I thank God that I was able to come into a saving knowledge of the truth. It wasn't long after switching over to ex. virgin olive oils and alaskan salmon (omega-3s and 9 feeds the nervous system and brain) that I started improving! IT is amazing the amounts of misinformation we are receiving in the media and press. When I hear any of it I am utterly appalled at what they are getting away with. It is genocide. It is a silent battle for the truth. To detect the sarcasm in the sixty minutes report towards the CEO of whole foods didn't take a lot of discernment over here. Caffeine and sugar leads up to jittery nervous behaviors. The Rawsome article which was just posted contains some wonderful tips on how to switch over to more of an organic natural diet without putting too much strain on your budget. Guest guest
, " coreen edgett " <coreenra wrote: > > Hello, I am new to this group and am going to start off right away and ask a question. > I am 43 years old and have been on birth control pills off and on most of my adult life. The risks that is. My doctor wanted me to stay on them, she says it is better for women when they start getting into premenapause. Hi there, Of course they say this, however they neglect to tell you why. They maintain that women in their menopause years do not have sufficient natural estrogen stores but as you may already know, the synthetic estrogen in birth contol pills is not the answer. The truth is that the body does provide sufficient estrogen in our menopausal state but the growth hormones in the traditional american diet (meat and dairy) interferes with the natural process (the synthetic hormones attach to our hormone receptors). This leads to hormonal imbalances such as you go on to describe. It started a week late as it is and the first week > was dark tarry looking clots and that was it. Not heavy. The second week was regular for me, heavy bleeding > and regular. The other change was it was with a heavy clear mucus. Does this sound like anything any one has gone through. This is typical. Birth control pills cause abnormal clotting. You are very lucky that you were able to pass them. Otherwise this condition could lead to a major stroke. This is why strokes and heart attacks are so common in women who take the pill! JoAnn
