Guest guest
Hi all, You may remember me posting about my mother towards the end of last year, and her pancreatitis caused by gallstones. Well, despite my best efforts to persuade her that having her gall bladder removed is NOT in her best interests, she has decided to have the operation, and it is scheduled for about a month's time. I'm really not happy about this, but it's her life and I can't force her to change her mind. What I'm wondering now is - does anyone in this group have any 'good news' stories about having this operation? Is anyone out there who has had the op and it hasn't caused them any bad side effects etc? And also - is there anything I can suggest to her in order to prepare herself both mentally and physically for the procedure, any supplements or vitamins she should be taking to boost her health etc so she can get over it quickly? Thanks everyone! Vicky _______________ Check out the new and improved services from Windows Live.
