Guest guest Posted February 22, 2009 Report Share Posted February 22, 2009 Anybody who lives in a soft-water area (not many minerals dissolved in the water), you can wash your hair with natural soap, even plain olive oil soap, and it will probably work great. I used to have soft water; washed my hair in plain soap for years, and was always getting compliments on my hair, and had no dandruff or itchy scalp. If you have hard water, good luck finding anything other than petroleum-detergent shampoo that works! Well, you can collect rainwater and use that, but it's a lot of trouble, and I have this little worry about water that's been sitting still outside (germs) getting into orifices...
