Hi Jan We have something in common, I to conquered MS if you would like to read my story go to www.ginakopera.com Ginawindflower song <windflowersong wrote: I beat my MS with a raw food diet. It may be diffcult to follow such a strict diet, but I'd rather live and walk, than be confined to a wheelchair! I no longer take any

prescription medicines, and, as a side effect, I lost 81 pounds following this diet, so I am no longer morbidly obese! Nice side effect! That is great. My parents went raw vegan for awhile. they claim to still eat that way, but She is cooking more and more, no animal anything still yet, though she is craving Swiss steak. LOL anyway My dad had hepatitis when mom was pregnant with my brother and the last blood test there was no trace of it. pretty amazing. Glad you feel better. :)

Dear "Stuck",

I have not had a chance to post much lately, but have noticed a dozen or so of your posts lately.

You appear to have a great many health issues with both you and your family that seem to crop up on an almost daily basis, and so I wanted to address you directly on a few issues.

1. There have been a few of your posts that I've had to delete, not allowing them to go to the whole list due to the kind of advice you were giving. I know you are here to learn and this is good. But if I may recommend, you should handle your own conditions before making recommendations to others. I'm sorry to point this out on list, but I don't really have a subtle bone in my body, and some of your advice has not been good.

2. If you haven't listened to my free lecture yet, you can send me a private email with your snail mail addy, and I'll have my office fire off a copy of the CD to you, or you can go to: http://www.academyofnaturalhealing.com/ our mirror site, and listen to it on line. This would be a good place for you to begin, in your self education.

3. One of the major points having to do with natural healing is Self Esteem. I've found that people with low self esteem tend to be unhealthy both mentally and physically. This brings us to the your web name = "Stuck". I'm reminded of a famous quote by Richard Bach, "Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they're yours". Why choose such a name as "Stuck"??? If you mock up being down and out, why then that's the way you'll be.

I certainly don't say the above to be critical or nasty and truly only wish to be straight, honest and to help, but my view is that you've got some serious changes to make in your life hon. You are where you are today, because of decisions you've made in the past. Where you will be in the future is completely dependent on the decisions you make today.

I wish you only Health and Love,

Doc

i have ms and have started the copaxone injections. i take supplements

and since starting the copaxone have gained 15 pounds. i eat mostly a

vegatarian diet, sometimes fish. i exercise regularly with walking

and strength training exercises. i have never had a problem with

cholesterol, or any kind of glucose issues. i recently had a fasting

screening done and my total cholesterol was 201. my glucose was 108.

while not extremely high i am quite concerned with this. wondering

could it be in relation to the copaxone. i am 39 four months shy of my

40th.

that's my background info. now my question is ... is there anyone

out there in this group or know someone that is purely using

supplements diet and exercise to control their ms? my ms is rrms and i

only have four lesions. during my diagnosis which took five years, i

have experienced fatigue, and some minor tingling in hands and toes.

i wouldn't even think i had ms had it not been for the active lesions i

had in may. i have been to the ms clinic in nashville for a second

opinion and both doctors strongly recommended the copaxone injections.

both doctors know how i feel about medicine of any sort and my nuero

has a brother that has ms so i am comfortable with his knowledge. and

he is supportive of my alternative methods. ok enough rambling. if

there is anyone out there that can give me some info on how to manage

ms naturally please give me a shout! thanks annie
