Guest guest
Hi everyone. I have been a member of this board for several years, but have a problem. I have a sister in law who has congestive heart failure, and now has edema with both legs swelling a lot below the knee. She has taken water pills, and juniper berry tea sometimes for water retention. Based on what I could find on the internet I recommended she take nettle herb in capsule form to alleviate the edema. I talked to her today and she says she is not improved. Anyone got any advice as to a natural treatment that might help? Blessings, Belial the Uncouth. Guest guest
Yes, I take care of an elderly woman and rub her feet and lower legs twice a week. Her legs and feet have transformed from huge to petite. She needs to drink lots of water after and must be prepared to use the bathroom ALOT. When she had a severe case and she had oozing sores she got what is called Oona boots. This is wrapping of the legs and feet and can be bothersome to the patient because with the swelling it can get very tight. They were applied by home nursing. The patient would remove them and rather have the hour and a half foot rubs twice a week. It really works.
