Here's some information for those of you thinking your cats are causing you

outbreaks...there's lots of info on the internet if you do a search.

What is feline

herpes?

Also known as

" feline viral rhinotracheitis " ,  feline herpes (FVR) is

an acute upper respiratory disease of cats caused by the feline

herpesvirus type 1 or FHV-1.

Can I catch

herpes from my cat?

No, only

domesticated cats & close relatives can catch feline

herpesvirus.

Wow. Great info. SO why is it every time I touch a cat and do not immediately

was my hands I have a break out. I do mean every time. I have tested this and

have asked people to look I am touching the cat watch, tomarow I will have one.

NEVER faild.I have been symptom free for so long but as soon as I touch the

beautiful feline I have an outbreak.

Thanks for your post. I was wondering about the virus you were talking about.

They also say expectant moms should not clean the litter box. Just another

interesting cat fact. ( I used to have several cats and no longer break out now

that I do not have them unless I pet one or I am sick and my immune system is

low.

Labor Pain is a side effect of a normal process, not a sign of a damage or

injury.-Book
