It is said to be used for nettles but, it works on bug bites, hives, etc. It is only a tempoary relief, you need to re-apply. I took some fresh dock leaf and made an oil and then an ointment. Everyone I have given this to just loves it. My friend said it worked instantly for her on mosquito bites. I believe the dock in my yard if yellow dock.SueFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. 2. Guest guest
I am trying to figure out what my body is trying to tell me or what lessons I am supposed to learn from my body itching. Numerous Doctors have not been able to diagnose the cause or help with a solution to stop the itching. Any ideas on the lesson or a solution? Guest guest
I suppose this might seem weird...but I've had similiar sympotms of itching. I usually take it as a sign that my body is somewhat " toxic " and i try and clear my body. For me that means my liver may need to " detox " and for this I take milk thistle...also I eat a vegan diet largely and lots of water. Oddly enough...for me this helps. max --- On Wed, 1/14/09, Penny Roberts <penny5515 wrote: Penny Roberts <penny5515 itching Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 6:03 PM I am trying to figure out what my body is trying to tell me or what lessons I am supposed to learn from my body itching. Guest guest
Penny, I have an undiagnosed itch on my back. I have gone through the allergy trials, changing soaps, wearing only pure cotton's, etc with no relief, until a dermatologists recommended I buy Sarna. It's an over the counter, inexpensive, anti itch cream and works great for a long period of time. I apply it after my shower and it lasts all day. At the least it will stop the itch until you can locate the cause. Abundant Blessings, Cynthia
Guest guest
your question is very vague, here is one simple approach. stand up with hands down freely, where your middle finger touches, press on that point, highly likely you will feel painful if you press little hard, if that happens, it means you got some blockage in your body's drainage system and created the itching feeling. gently rub on the painful point during the next few days, the pain will go away, so will your itching feeling. try it out and let us know. ===================== Posted through Grouply, the better way to access your like this one. http://www.grouply.com/?code=post
Guest guest
 I did post something earlier for you- there was something i forgot to add----- there is a rash that is quite xommon-you often see people with it at the beach-it is a patch of skin that doesn't tan-i think it's fungal- but i am unsure----------- it slowly grows and spreads very slowly over years-can be itchy--- i had it for years-i must have asjked 8 or 10 doctors over the first 3-4 yrs i had it and tried  all sorts of creams -the only thing that vaguely helped was selsun shampoo- rub in when showering however this also did not get rid of it just keept it quiet--- one day i was at a doc for some minor thing like a  kicked toe or something and he noticed the rash-----i told him i'd had it for years and tried everything but to no avail-he said it was easy to get rid of and prescribed a cream-called prevaryl or prevaril, i think it had a y in it but that's the pronounciation-,it is a chemical-i'm sure , however -it is like a wash-it comes in 3 sachets, in a box-after a shower , each day -you rub over area with a little water and leave on------do this for 3 days--------it must be done one moth later to kill remaining spores--it works -i have put many people with same rash on to it and all had success.-you were vague in describing your rash-or itch----- without more info it is extremely hard to pinpoint and  diagnose... so hope all postings give some insight Stay connected to the people that matter most with a smarter inbox. Also environmental allergens could be the cause. your detergent, soaps, lotions, chemicals in the air, your water etc. Try switching to all natural soaps such as Dr. Bronner's brand and using only natural products on your skin, such as coconut oil as a moisturizer. Regular baths with sea salts and Epsom salts and a nice clay may help draw impurities out of the skin and oatmeal baths help with itch. Just grind some oats in your blender or coffee grinder and put them into a cotton sock and tie closed; place the sock under the hot water faucet and squeeze into bath using the cotton sock as a wash cloth on irritated areas. > > Warm Regards, > Connie > > > > Connie Young, LMT > www.LostRiverNaturals.com > Organic Herbal Handcrafts > Bath Goodies, Body Care, TEAS, > Massage and much more! > > >
