Guest guest
Naturopath's Journey to Healing Her Rash, a Triumph of the Chronic By: Aurore Adamkiewicz, ND beyondnaturalmedicine.com With such an overwhelming response from my previous blogs on seizures and gallbladder attacks, I decided to write an article about the triumphant healing of my chronic rash. As you may know from my many other blogs on rash, that the rash, hands down is the most difficult to heal. If you have not read my other blogs on rash, I encourage you to do so, as this article will be incomplete without reviewing some of my personal research and experiences in healing other peoples rashes. Since 2002, the birth of my third son, I had also incurred a strange rash on my upper arms. White papules all up and down, looked like white acne. I tried that year to heal it with many different creams and sprays such as pau d'arco, colloidal silver, H202, and rooibos tea. Nothing would help and a detox was out of the question since I was nursing. Within 2 years the rash on the upper arms had settled into an itch spot on my left anti-cubical space (inner elbow, you know where they poke you with the hyperdermic needles). This itch spot grew and at times was worse and at times dormant. When dormant it was a six inch white spot that would not tan and when active it was red, wet and irrresistably ITCHY!!!! Because it was white at the middle I had assumed it was fungallly related perhaps tinnea. Thus, I tried to kill it at the surface with a forementioned creams etc. Then I started a useless candida/fungal cleanse which would last on and off for a period of four years! I also, during my precocious and ignorant homeopathic days utilized a plethora of homeopathics for rashes such as sulfur and graphites (something now I would not have done). So, went my life with a chronic rash, and as a naturopath I felt quite defeated, as I believe healing myself is primary to be able to heal others (although I realize, many would not agree). I knew that this rash indicated, not only a hole in my life as a healer, but a tragic chronic condition that was a sign of something more grimace-lurking under the surface. Well, after my class this summer on Dr. Henry Lindlahr's work and research (see my blog on Lindlahr and chronic illness), I was ready to put these theories to the test-after all, if I couldn't do it-who could? How could I expect others who come to see me to do what I couldn't? In August 2008, I watched a video on how cancer was a fungus through Mercola.com, fascinated by this video, having worked in Oncology myself...I was ready to rid myself of this flesh debilitating fungus. So, I began to " chip " away at it by laying under the orange colored light (having already done the basic four begininning colors for chronic disease). I also started washing it four times a day with simple baking soda solution. The baking soda started causing an effect within a few days-and the orange within a week caused it to supporate (drain) at first the rash got worse and worse until in formed a giant pustule and the the orange caused the pustule to break open. What I then had was a arm that drained pus, from a little volcano, for 2 weeks (see picture above). Now this is where Lindlahrs work surpasses all other naturopathic work-including, my other idol Dinshah (sorry Dinshah, I love you but....) At soon as it supporated, Dinshah would have recommended to start indigo or blue to stop the inflammation and contract the tissues- however, I had not had the " fever " yet- and so, I kept going on with the orange and letting it drain. I applied no other tricky substances, antibacterial ointments, antiseptics, just kept it clean and washed it with sodium bicarbonate twice a day. Finally, the fever came 7 weeks into treatment-just as Lindlahr had said, about the healing crisis in the seventh week. During the fever I went off all food, at some points I was what some people would describe as delirious, but I believe I was letting out pent up emotions-I became terrified to be alone and afraid to die, then I was screaming I was alone and got a migraine headache-to add to the crisis-phew! I did utilize some homeopathics during the fever stage when I felt the healing crisis coming on which were psorinium and meddorrium. Fortunately, it really only lasted 24 hours-and I was better. Within a few days the rash had subsided completely! It is now January, and it has been almost 5 months and no return to rash and the pigmentation is back!! So, I recognize I have yet unearthed another healing revolution and the first has not even taken flight or has been properly understood- so, I am compiling all of this for either a new updated edition of " Beyond Natural Cures " or a new book, under perhaps the same title but a Part II. At any rate, I am not foolish to think that any of my clientele would be interested in healing themselves of their chronic diseases in such a time or matter, but nonetheless-the hardcore rebel that I am, I choose to stand apart from the masses and risk financial benefit and mass praise for the sake of the truth.... Thank you again, Dr. Lindlahr, and I encourage all of you with rashes- " Be thou healed!!! "
