Guest guest
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and suggest an item for contemplation. My name is Sara Brown and I've been watching and reading on this group for a while. I had years of headaches (migraines), neck aches and jaw aches (TMJ) as well as depression, generalized fatigue, asthma, allergies, acid reflux, IBS and other abdominal and stomach and other issues as well as more recent daily vertigo, nausea, hypertension, low blood sugar bouts, dehydration, extreme thirst. Doctor after doctor continued to run tests and confirm " everything looks good " . But why didn't I feel well? I saw an ayurvedic doctor for several visits over a number of years, added vitamins, minerals and supplements, saw other holistic physicians and followed their advice. Nothing seemed to work long- term. I have been unable to work for some time as I would have migraines and dizzy/nausea spells that would make it impossible to work. Finally I stumbled on a website that made some sense. The web site was focused on food additives and preservatives. After 10 years or more of going to chiropractors and other natural doctors (ayurveda, accupunture, qi gong, rebirthing) as well as trying traditional medicine, help seems to be coming from eliminating processed foods and eating whole, natural foods. It seems I am allergic to, or sensitive to items like monosodium glutamate, sulfites, aspartame, and other harmful (or harmful to me) additives, preservatives, colorings, etc. As I began looking at the food I was eating, the ingredients and the processing of the food, I began to see how many offending ingredients there are and began trying to get to a healthier diet. I guess my body will have a better chance at healing responding with/to the other therapies now that I have some of the major causes of my " disease " out of my daily routine and diet. I don't know if this will help anyone else, but it sure has made a difference in my life. I think we are all different, but maybe someone can be helped by this information. I'm still looking to understand more about these additives and how certain chemicals cross the blood brain barrier, etc. I would love to know more if anyone on this group has any information. Wishing everyone heath, wellness and wholeness. I would rather have my " wellness " than millions of dollars. Sara
Guest guest
Sara - Would you please post the website you found so other group members can benefit from this information. Thanks so much. I am a firm believer in this direction. Guest guest
There is also a forum: http://health.quinolones/ where people have suffered from the same things you have after taking an antibiotic in the Fluoroquinlolone class. Some of the more popular ones given out are: Cipro, Avelox, Levaquin, Floxacin, and many others. They all are toxic to your nerves and connective tissues and cause over 50 different adverse side effects that Dr's are unaware of. There was just a warning released about the tendon ruptures these antibiotics can cause, but there are so many more that can ruin your health and life. Insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks, ringing in your ears, eye problems, digestive problems, muscle and ligaments problems, the list goes on and on and these injuries can last for years. Check out the group: http://health.quinolones/ There are over 2,000 members that have been suffering from the side effects of these drugs for years and their Dr. refuses to believe it. I am one of them.
