Guest guest Posted January 6, 2009 Report Share Posted January 6, 2009 I'd always heard 8 glasses (8oz) of water a day. But I recently heard that you should drink ½ your body weight in oz. For example I weigh 171 so I should drink 85.5oz (or 5+ cups) of water a day. I also use an insulated cup to drink my water out of. At the end of the day whatever water I've not drank I put it in the freezer. In the morning I pour fresh water over the frozen and drink on it all day. It's a large insulated cup. The number in the triangle is a 5 so I will be researching the plastic/toxic situation now. :-) Thanks.
