Guest guest
The vagina is a self cleaning organ and douching is not to be done except for a medical condition. In fact, douching can cause a foul vaginal odor. HTH Denise I would advise seeing a specailist as there may be a health issue that would cause such a thing, eg something in the womb, if unattended could be cancerous , it is allways best to know what you DON " T have so as to be able to tackle the problem without causing further health problems------ also buy a vaginal douche----don't use it too often as you will need natural secretions to lubricate and to keep a balance, -i am allways amazed at how many women don't use a douche occassionally, in europe every bathroom has a bid " e for men and women to attend to genital hygiene, yet in some so called civilized countrys they laugh at such practices- a personal douche is a home unit which can go away with you on weekends so get one-if you have this problem - it will help and don " t forget to attend to it's hygiene by washing it and allowing it to drain and dry to prevent the rubber perishing. You can put a little yougurt in your douche water once per week to help balance and soothe-but rinse douche out well or you will encourage mould growing. I hope this advise helps. Guest guest
The only thing you should use for douching is vinegar and water. I fould this out the hard way many years ago. You should have an exam by your physician to rule out anything serious. --- On Fri, 12/5/08, O' Conchubair <Newfler wrote: O' Conchubair <Newfler vaginal smell Friday, December 5, 2008, 3:42 AM The vagina is a self cleaning organ and douching is not to be done except for a medical condition. Guest guest
When it happens to me up and then to have vaginal smell, I use water and apple-vineger. It helps immediately and is totally safe. It was my homeopathic doctor, a buddhist woman, who told me it. Since then, I dont have any problems anymore with this issue. I put in a glas 2/3 water (not cold, not warm..) and 1/3 apple- vineger and I make a " inner-douche " using a gum tool called " ear- candle " ... standing in the bath-tub. Sometimes I repeat the treatment once. Be well, take care, Riana* , Jae Bryan <jae2you wrote: > > The only thing you should use for douching is vinegar and water. Guest guest
A vagina shouldn't smell. During child bearing years, discharge and scent change with hormone fluctuations but there should never be foul odor. See a doctor asap to find out why there is an odor. Guest guest
unless your experiencing any pain/symptoms of something serious, sometimes the obvious can be overlooked; thoroughly clean everything with a gentle glycerin soap and rinse well with warm water...pubic hair, labia, clitoris and all the surrounding wall. Hold off douching until you have had an exam as the vagina is self cleaning and douching may create more problems. --- On Wed, 12/3/08, mary nia <nosheenforyou wrote: mary nia <nosheenforyou Re: vaginal smell Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 2:28 PM Fresh lime juce also smashed garlic would be very helpful --- On Tue, 12/2/08, draadewu <draadewu > wrote: draadewu <draadewu > vaginal smell Tuesday, December 2, 2008, 8:14 AM Can any in the group help with solutions to vaginal smell, please. " --------------- I have to completely disagree. Antibiotics are not the way to rid yourself of parasites. Antibiotics only work for bacterial pathogens and will have no effect on parasites. You do want to take a good herbal parasite cleanse such as one with wormwood, pumpkin seed and black walnut. Clarkia makes a good one. Save the antibiotics for bacterial infections ONLY! Even then you may wish to wait and let your body fight of the infection on it's own. You will be stronger for it in the long run. Way too many people are running to their Dr. for antibiotics for every little thing these days and it is making us resistant as a result. Dr's are over prescribing them. Not good.
