Guest guest
between 1 to 4 stocks of celery is the easiest to start with but it really depends on why is your BP high. You fix that and the BP is low again. Guest guest
Please forgive me if it seems that I am being simplistic here, but I don't know what you are already doing. You might have already tried this one, but my first suggestion would be to look at what you are eating and remove sources of high sodium and food additives and preservatives. Food that comes in boxes or bags is a big offender (already partially cooked or quick to cook). Cut down on sugar and other high-carbohydrate foods, which can also contribute to water retention and high blood pressure. Support your body's own ability to function correctly with nutritional supplementation, starting with a good vitamin/mineral supplement. Cut out caffeine if you haven't already done so. Drink plain water. Eat celery and other plain vegetables (no salt or sauces). --- On Fri, 11/28/08, izabel5740 <izabel5740 wrote: izabel5740 <izabel5740 Alternatives to High blood pressure meds Friday, November 28, 2008, 8:33 PM I would like to know if any one has any suggestion on alternative to taking high blood pressure medications. Guest guest
Hi Judy-thank-you for the information. I'm really asking for my sister. I only eat organic and take vitamins and such. I drink a lot of water and tea. It is very interesting that you are the second person to mention celery. I eat fresh fruit and veg as well as my sister, for she is a dietary director and her husband a chemist, he wants her to take pills and she does not want to, but she has also been diagnosed with diabetes, so I am not sure what to give her advise on, but may I be so forward as to ask what is so special about celery? izabel --- On Sat, 11/29/08, JUDY <nursejudyonline wrote: JUDY <nursejudyonline Re: Alternatives to High blood pressure meds Saturday, November 29, 2008, 8:59 PM Please forgive me if it seems that I am being simplistic here, but I don't know what you are already doing. Guest guest
Hi there, in the chinese medical we dont have a term as high blood pressure, high blood pressure is an indication to some other problems within the body, each case could be different, but there is an easy cure, to drive the blood to go down the body, try to stand on one foot with eyes close for 1 min, then try the other foot, keep practicing this simple exercise, and you will find your blood pressure comming down slowly. let me know if you get better. regards Ftan11 為了ä¸æ–·æå‡ Mailï¼Œé›…è™Žé¦™æ¸¯èª é‚€ä½ åƒèˆ‡æ„見調查。請å‰å¾€http://surveylink.yaho\ o.com/wix/p5429076.aspx ç™¼è¡¨ä½ çš„æ„見!
