Guest guest
Many people, depending on the severity of stress or abandonment issues in their childhood and life, develop alter egos to handle the stressors. This is especially common in individuals who are entertainers or have more prominent personalities. Some more highly sensitive people question life, their purpose in life and at times the worth of life. Their sensitivities make them lighting-rods for emotionally charged co-creative processes and experiences. From this they can create wonderful things, gain tremendous insights and accomplish things that would escape the ponderences of most. People create a lot of, or rather they have the ability to create many, alter egos to handle stress. Sometimes it is a normal and appropriately functioning alter-ego, like when an actor plays a role, or the difference between your ‘at home’ personality, and your ‘at work’ or corporate personality. But it, the management of stress, can become extreme, bordering on abnormal or dysfunctional, to a point where it isn’t healthy. With too much stress, the person might rely on the alter-ego too much, so that they lose track of themselves or never deal with their real-life issues. However, in this example the individual realizes they have and use an alter-ego. For example - this is when the actor becomes the role - through immersion, the professional doesn't like coming home from work and when they do they are detached from the family unit or home life. In other words the alter-ego can be used as a coping mechanism. But if the stress or trauma gets to be too much, or too extreme, the personality can actually fragment and become a split personality. In this case some of the alter-ego's awareness doesn’t know their other persona exists until they go through a process of reintegration and that is not always successful. What we are saying to you is that there are degrees of functionality. To be well, to live well, means that you do unfortunately or not have to deal at some point with what helped make you the person you are. YOUR PERSONAL GROWTH actually begins when you start dealing with the things that shaped who you are and how you exist with those around you. This is just part of the living-well process. You co-exist with the vibrational patterns of everything that has shaped you into the physical manifestation you now know yourself as. Through the passage of time, layers of realities have been built by you through your self-modifying belief system, that have shaped your confidence, your self-esteem, and the perception you have of yourself. EVERYONE, and we do mean, everyone, goes through these rites of passage. Indeed, self-questioning. How you deal with them, the events of your life, will define the type of person you become. There are some who do not believe in alter-egos or fragmented personality disorders. And that is as it is. But if more than one perceived outward reality can exist, then of course, more than one inward persona can be created throughout a life time. In this process, there is usually one alter-ego that establishes itself and is functionally dominant, in order to protect the sensitive, damaged and frightened original personality. Vibrationally you experience these forms of altered awareness when you become filled with anxiety. Your experience in the third-dimensional reality is to experience joy. You know what it is you intuitively need, want and desire to be happy and fulfilled. Now, this is not about material things, nor is it about manifesting financial wealth. It is about feeling satisfied, content and whole in your own body, within your own skin, and feeling good about yourself. When you interact with someone else, or go through something that hurts you, makes you feel bad, or leaves you frustrated, then you are not in alignment with your pure intent. You are interacting with, or going through, a situation that is not in harmony with your own vibrational frequency. WE KNOW we have been speaking to you of these things that are very deep and intense, but we have been getting many questions about stress, addiction and personality disorders. It seems that the more stress that is upon you, the more you question your own well being. This is OUR SINGULAR attempt to put these things in a format you can relate to... and that will inform and perhaps help you. MichelsMessages/ Healing in never quick and easy - it is a process.
