Have you tried pureeing her foods? Even meats can be pureed if you want to do so. There are many protein drinks on the market and whole foods like chlorella and such are also out there. Try natural food stores for these things. Young Living has some, also. Contact me if you like. Also, I would encourage your Mom to move around as much as possible; if this is a strain or sprain situation, movement may be a good thing. Taking in protein can help build muscle mass, but resistance exercise is also good. Good luck!
