Guest guest
Kudos to all the posts regarding chiropractic care. As a nurse and clinic director of a chiropractic clinic that my husband and I own and operate (he's the chiropractor) I can say we see many " chiropractic miracles " on a daily basis. Knowing that subluxations (misalignments of the vertebrae) can lead to interference of the nervous system which in turn causes dis-ease in the body and can eventually lead to health challenges I know the impact that chiropractic care can have on Optimal Health for an individual. I saw one post regarding the only part of the spine that was adjusted was the atlas and that the writer had to ask for other areas to be adjusted. Sometimes depending on the severity of the condition chiropractors will only focus on one area of the spine so that the brain can focus all of it's attention on one area instead of having to dilute it to three or four areas. There is also a belief in chiropractic that there is much more power when adjusting only one area instead of more than one area. I hope this helps! Guest guest
OH!...I have so many questions about chiripractic care...I've recently started seeing one after getting results from an MRI and x-rays...and have been very pleased with something called " decompression therapy " ...anyone hear of that? --- On Fri, 11/21/08, chironurse141 <chironurse wrote: chironurse141 <chironurse chiropractic care Friday, November 21, 2008, 6:27 PM Kudos to all the posts regarding chiropractic care. Guest guest
I have had a few friends use decompression therapy and have had wonderfull results from that. It can be used for decompression of a degenerated disc to a herniated disc. It is a good alternative to surgery. Guest guest
I worked with a chiropractor that had a " Decompression Table " . He had several patients that came regularly for the therapy. I totally believe in the benefits you get from it. ~ Melani Holt ~ : orange_stuff99: Sun, 23 Nov 2008 18:14:49 -0800Re: chiropractic care OH!...I have so many questions about chiripractic care...I've recently started seeing one after getting results from an MRI and x-rays...and have been very pleased with something called " decompression therapy " ...anyone hear of that?--- On Fri, 11/21/08, chironurse141 <chironurse wrote:chironurse141 <chironurse chiropractic careTo: : Friday, November 21, 2008, 6:27 PMKudos to all the posts regarding chiropractic care. Guest guest
It has been a life saver for me...slightly bulging disc in L4 and after using the decompression therapy the sciatic symptoms have faded to at times " non-existent " ...this of course...coupled with some good stretching exercises...just for information....<smiles> --- On Mon, 11/24/08, prattdw2000 <prattdw2000 wrote: prattdw2000 <prattdw2000 Re: chiropractic care Monday, November 24, 2008, 12:31 PM I have had a few friends use decompression therapy and have had wonderfull results from that.
