The FDA and USDA Attack Again

Hi,

Here are a couple of ugly things rearing their heads that would almost

completely eliminate our freedom to choose what we eat.

Item #1) There is still time to comment on the new upcoming and

onerous FDA proposed new regulations. We now have a convenient link to

facilitate this (if you haven't already taken action) at:

http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/568/campaign.jsp?

campaign_KEY=26269

Item #2)A gift from the USDA to Big Biotech for GMO crops. If this

gets put into play, bye bye unadulterated food crops! USDA has

released a proposed rule gutting any meaningful oversight of GMO

(genetically engineered) crops and allowing biotech companies to grow

food crops engineered to produce drugs and industrial chemicals

without protection for conventional or organic crops. This will most

likely mean that soon, you will not be able to avoid ingesting some

drug or industrial substance when you eat. If you don't like the idea

of being an experimental subject, then this is very important to you.

There are only 3 days left to comment, so this is urgent. Our link for

this is: http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/568/campaign.jsp?

campaign_KEY=26267 and while you're at it, please also please visit:

http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/568/t/1128/campaign.jsp?

campaign_KEY=25920 to read more of and support the legislation that

Rep. Dennis Kucinich has introduced in Congress in favor of GMO Safety

and Labeling on food.

I thank you for taking action and protecting your health freedoms.
