Guest guest
As someone who has recently undergone atlas orthogonal I'd like to chime in. I also recently discovered I had high blood pressure. while I now believe in atlas orthogonal as the only way to go with upper cervical adjustment I would caution that it is not the end all cure all modality to cure all diseases as they elude to. I had to ask for adjustment for the rest of my spine as the dr. did not automatically do it. I do not know if this was in keeping with his belief or the fact he wanted to span out the treatments. Personally while I had an immediate cessation to one symptom ( tinnitis like but neurologically based) it did not correct what II believe to be a muscular vascular symptom. I went for treatment 4 times are initial consult and pictures. This modality is more expensive and Medicare does not cover films and consults. I believe if the symptoms of more than high blood pressure/ usually nasal, headache, vision problems jointly present themselves it is worth the cost of getting the films and the measurements to see if the atlas is truly out of whack. Mine was minimally so and even with that smallest of measurement it did eliminate that " neon " feeling I was feeling and hearing. With standard chiropractic it did not alleviate that symptom and only worsened my dizziness. medusa - " prattdw2000 " <prattdw2000 Found an article that might be of interest to some people. August 11, 2008 (Dallas, TX) — Studies and research regarding the chiropractic adjustment are being performed more and more to show the validity of chiropractic. WebMD has recently released information showing a special chiropractic adjustment called the Atlas Adjustment, can significantly lower high blood pressure. <snip>
