…Moreover, 16 of the wounds were infected with hard-to-treat

methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection. Honey

eradicated it in 70 per cent of cases, compared to only 16 per cent with

hydrogel.

hello from Anna

I was wondering if you have any information on Bee Propolis (Resin)_

a. how is this obtained

b. what do the Bees use Propolis for

c. how would one use Bee Propolis; does this help the Immune System?

I was interested in Resins in particular; is this tree or bee Resins?

Thank you; A. , " hivehealth "

Hi Anna,

Having raised bees in my backyard for a couple of years here is what I can

answer regarding your questions. It's not as thorough as what others may

have to say but it will give you your answers.

1) Propolis is acquired from the hive by scraping and even using

propolis traps

2) Bees use propolis to " sterilize " and keep their hive clean, they

basically use it for chinking up any holes etc., so it is an airtight home.

Propolis is made from a variety of different things of which the bees create

some (some of its sap etc). It has been tested that a bee hive is actually

cleaner than most hospital rooms due to the propolis they use/make

3) Propolis can be used to enhance the immune system and also ward off

colds, fight colds, disease etc - the list if endless I'm sure

I hope this helps a little bit anyway.

thank you; I appreciate the knowledge; Bee Pollen is high in

Panthothenic Acid Vitmain B5

Vitamin B5 converts to Co enzyme A; which concvets to co q 10

small bee hive; isn't it? Bee products are true medicine like vitamins
