Guest guest
Have you not notice that when you are open and nice to someone, or you are just available and giving, they become suspicious of you. And the first thing they usually think is that you are out to get next to them, or that you want something from them. How sad. So few people have really giving friends. And when they have the chance to make new friends their own suspicions get in the way. How many of you really have someone close to you that you can count on, who would be there for you when you needed them - no questions asked, and just be emotionally accessible to you? Perhaps some, but more than likely not many. We hear this A LOT. Then there are those who ACTUALLY believe that everyone uses everyone and that they can just turn the charm on to get what they need out of someone - hum, now how many of you would like to have someone like that in your life? And when you discover that is who they are - opps too late. Here is the point, just give freely and practice random acts of kindness. Just do something because it feels good. One person, one act of kindness shown another, will in time, cause other acts of kindness to flow from them. Plant good seeds without expectation... Guest guest
How true. From my experience the good feeling you have knowing that what you did was right makes the whole day. I found a sweater a lady left in the rest room at the market and I finally saw her in one of the aisles. She spoke no English and I had to show her by my actions that I had found her sweater and turned it in and I took her to the lost and found department to get it back for her and she was so pleased and I felt good about that all day. Guest guest
Neitzche noted this in 'Thus spoke Zarathrustra '. Zaratrhustra learned that he did not need a flock or a herd to guide , but instead companions . By making friends first he was able to point people in their own directions . Who in turn could then guide others . The human mind is suspicious of gifts because they have learned that everything costs something . To give without expecting recompense is totally against human nature . If nothing else one at least expects a 'thank you' or some kind of recognition . That way they know that what they did was worthwhile and not just a waste of time and energy . Even Mother Theresa wondered at times . We are to learn to overcome our human nature to become our spiritual narure ; to be a bridge between the old nature towards the new nature. +++ By healing ourselves we can then heal others - by healing others we can then heal ourselves . +++ Peace......... , " magicalthoght " <magicalthoght wrote: > > Have you not notice that when you are open and nice to someone, or you > are just available and giving, they become suspicious of you.
