Guest guest
GOLD BOND: Ultimate Healing Lotion is fabulous. I haven't tried every lotion out there, but I have tried quite a few. This is the best for me and can be bought at Wal-mart. Good luck! , " sailsharks " <jennifer_reid_574 wrote: > > Hi All! > Does anyone know of a product that helps very dry chapped hands? > > Thanks > Jennifer >
Guest guest
Curel Lotion (Intensive). Works great and smells good.
Guest guest
Plain lanolin is the best thing I've found. It's sticky, but I just put it on my hands at night and put socks on them, and in the morning, I'm all fixed up. You can probably get a little bottle of lanolin at your local health food store. Guest guest
With the onset of autumn my hands started getting dry too; I had horizontal cracks that were bleeding.... couldn't even wash my face; the water was burning my hands badly; I was applying fish oil and it helped I had vit. A levels measured and it was low; now with consuming foods high in vit. A my hands seem to be getting better on their own (I'm not using the fish oil anymore) I have celiac and lack of vit. A and other insoluble vitamins is just one thing I have to deal with.... good luck --- On Thu, 11/6/08, maria <mariadirienzo wrote: maria <mariadirienzo Re: dry chapped hands Thursday, November 6, 2008, 5:37 PM Curel Lotion (Intensive). Guest guest
I also use lanolin. I used it out of the tube from the pharmacy. Then when I raised livestock I found Udder Butter. It is smoother and more like lotion and is easier to put on. It also goes right into the skin, so you don't have to wear socks. Generally you can find it at some feed stores, like Gebos. I keep a small tub in every vehicle, and in the house.
Guest guest
A high quality Olive Oil mixed with a little aloe vera is excellent for dry chapped hands. Diana Moore http://www.bowentherapy.homestead.com
