Guest guest
Hai Pamela,... When I'm start getting cold, I'm eating chicken soup, with more of union and chicken bone. Eat when it still hot (not too hot and not too warm). Or, take a slice/two slice union with a tablespoon of canola/olive oil. It will make body feel warm. Sorry, my english was not so good :-( hope u can understand what I'm meaning above. Guest guest
Those things are great, as is astragalus root made into a tea with maybe some ginger root and elderberries! Simmer in a saucepan (1 tsp of herbs per cup 1/2 of water) for 20-30 minutes and sweeten with RAW honey. Also powdered turmeric can be mixed with raw honey (1 tsp of each) and taken at the first sign of a cold every hour until symptoms subside. Then a few times per day until the cold is resolved. (this is an Ayurvedic formula) This is mostly what we do; plus lots of warm teas with raw honey and fresh lemon. Stay well, drink lots of water and warm teas this season as well as probiotics thru drinking kefir and kombucha if you can, if not a supplement would be ok.
