Hi....anyone here ever have a kidney stone...??.....I spent all day last Friday

in the emergency room and after a CT scan, they said I had a kidney stone.....

I have never experienced such incredible pain, not even childbirth

compares.....I was given pain meds and a strainer to urinate in to catch the

stone...never found the stone, but by Tues morning....nearly all the pain was

gone....

That sounds terrible; I have read taking Vitamin B6 can prevent Kidney

Stones; take the B6 in a B-Complex of about 50 mgs. a day; there is

also a bunch of natural remedies and diets to help this on the internet

Substances in the urine can crystalize, forming stones. These stones

can be caused by not drinking enough water, consuming 'cola' type

drinks, taking too much vitamin C (though not much scientific proof of

this), and can be hereditary. To help prevent them, Drink plenty of

water (8 glasses per day), a diet low in protein and sodium, avoid

all 'cola' drinks, avoid large quantities of vitamin C. Drinking

cranberry or orange juice has shown to help in prevention.

The Stone Breaker is in your backyard! In India Phyllanthus niruri

goes by other names, like Bahupatra or Bhuiamla. It is the same

wonderful plant, with a long history of use in Ayurvedic medicine.

Just put Phyllanthus niruri + India into Google, you will get a

number of sources. The " side effects " are many, and they are all GOOD.

Like so many of our best healers it looks like a humble weed. An

online friend in Brazil rips it out of her planters by the handful,

after she keeps some for tea.

Go get yourself some, and tell us how it worked please.

Ien in the Kootenays, too cold for Chanca Piedra, but great for Horse

Tail, Dandelion, Chickweed, Burdock, Red Clover, Yarrow, St Joan's

wort, Pipssissewa, Plantain, Uva Ursi, Comfrey, and many others.

People, there is too much unnecessary suffering going on in this

world, it drives me nuts! We are surrounded by miracles, and we all

possess powerful minds and healing hands.

When will we start teaching our children the miracles in our backyard?

Homework for today: Find a seed. ANY seed. A grain of rice, a pinto

bean, an apple pip, a finished Marigold blossom. If possible, Sprout

it, plant it. But at least MARVEL at the miracle of life.

Hi,

Avoid oxalates present in some cook vegetables such as spinach and onion.

Take some herbal formula to eliminate stones. You will find more than one

combination.

Somehow my original reply to Karen never got posted.

The tropical herb Phyllanthus niruri, available as a plain tincture

from http://rain-tree.com, has a long record of taking care of kidney

stones.

The side effects are all positive: good for your liver, boosts

immunity...The names used in Latin America are Chanca Piedra or Quebra

Pedra, and literally mean stone crusher.
