Guest guest
You can use chelation therapy for this; but the pills don't do much; you have to do the IV chelation therapy to get any real benefit; you may want to begin by taking other natural remedies such as Vitamin C; Co Enzyme Q10; Thiamin Vit. B1; Magnesium; Hawthorne Berries these help the heart; avoid MSG; and do not eat any animal fat;dairy ok You also want to begin to eat whole grains such as whole grain pastas; try to avoid white rice and begin to eat brown rices of varying types;a , " newacct1241720 " <newacct1241720 wrote: > > thank you arie >
Guest guest
I read a recent study where it said the results of chelation studies didn't show any difference in the effect on plaque in the arteries. You can achieve the dosage effect with oral EDTA but the dosages must be much higher to get the same blood level results. There are some websites that let you know how much EDTA is absorbed orally and utilized based on dosage amount and then you can compare it the IV levels. But again, the recent studies I have seen do not support its effectiveness. It has been traditionally used for heavy metal poisoning. If you use chelation therapy you need to take an effective calcium supplement like calcium citrate as the therapy will remove calcium from your body. I would suggest resveratrol which does have studies proving its benefits. It has been known for years about the benefit of red wine, and one of the major components of this has been resveratrol. The alcohol in wine is also beneficial in that it relaxes the arteries and makes them more flexible and less prone to plaque build up and hardening. But the maximum should be one glass for a woman and two for a man. Omega 3's with EPA-DHA are also very beneficial and found in fish oil. As a vegetarian I have been using flax seed oil but the EPA-DHA is not nearly as beneficial as fish oil. However, I have a great cardiologist who let me know about V-Pure which is an excellent vegan source of these and is actually derived from algae. This sort of makes sense as this is what many fish feed on or they feed on fish that eat the algae. It is sort of pricey so I am going to see if my physician will complete a certificate of need for my flexible spending account which will cover supplements if they might be beneficial for a medical condition. I wish I could say there is no price on health but with those of us with strong genetic dispositions for certain medical conditions it does come down to more than just diet and exercise sometimes, though these are essential no matter what predispositions may exist.
