Dear Kelsey,

I'm under an order by the manufacturer not to divulge our source (or be

we'll be cut off from it altogether), and we can only use it in our

formulae and not sell it or resell it whole.

You'll need to do a Google Search for it. The variety you want is USP

Pharmaceutical Grade.

For drinking water, you want "distilled" only.

For an entire house, there are units that will do this, only I'm not

familiar with them.

If anyone else out there has any hands on experience with this, please

send to the list.

Thanks.

Thanks for answering up on this Mendy.

Nice place to start on this project.

My only advice I'd like to piggy back on to yours is to go with

distilled instead of RO as mentioned previously.

Then under the kitchen sink we installed a reverse osmosis system, you

can find those easily now for under $200. Just don't forget to change

the filters on any of these. If the filter is dirty you might as well

not have a filtering system. You can set your house up pretty

inexpensively.

Dear Mendy,

All of us are always learning, including me. At least we hope this is

the case ;-)

Distilled water for the most part leaches only "inorganic" minerals

from the body so aids in reducing Arthritis and bone spurs etc.

A few pinches of salt or a healthy organic meal is more than enough to

replace any "Organic" minerals taken out.

This is one of those "urban legends" designed to scare us away from the

good water. There are certain machines that can make a distilled water

that would be toooooo much for us humans, but the chance of anyone

getting these is very slim since they are used in technical

applications only and are extremely expensive = hundreds of thousands

of dollars.

Distilled is best.

The data I have on RO not being the best is new, and I'm still

researching it soooooooo, I can't answer up on that one just yet.

A reliable source has informed me however, that RO contributes to

candida over growth, so it's off my "recommend" list until I find out

more.

When I know more, you can bet I'll pass it on to the list.

Hugs,

Doc

No. The fluoride is in the form of Hydrofluorosalisicacid.

This is a chemical compound and will bond with solids = a dissolved

solid that will be left behind when the pure H2O is removed in the

distillation process.

Only the pure steam is taken off. IE: When you mix table salt with

water it becomes a dissolved solid. When you distill the water off,

the salt is left behind.

Hi,

Does anyone have a water filter that they recommend? Or ideas about

what to look for? All I am looking for is something small to filter

drinking and cooking water. Thanks!

Hi Jennifer;

I personally like " Pur " it claims to be better that Britta but I like the fact

that you can add flavors to the water when ever you want it, I am very happy

with mine and they are comparable to all the others in price.

I personally use a Piwater system from Nikken. They come in different

sizes, including a relatively small one, the Aqua Pour Express. You

can view the various options on www.nikken.com. I have a membership

with them so can offer them at wholesale to anyone who wants within

Canada and USA.

They are much more than just filtration. The water is healthy. It's

energized and exposed to far infrared and a magnetic field.

Taste-wise it would be best compared to Fiji bottled water. Like

Fiji, it's mineralized.

Hi Jennifer,

We've used the Pur faucet filters for years now in the kitchen and

bath for drinking and cooking water. We're happy with the system, and

will continue to use it. PS: We also use one in our camper for

vacations.

Sharon, I have heard of Nikken and believe it is an excellent brand. I

need to look at filters for kitchen and possibly bath/shower. Do you

have any pricing?
