HI All,

Firstly, thank you all for the support and thoughts regarding my husband. He is

still very sick, and we are still trying to get to the bottom of it. He saw an

infectious disease doctor last week, and we finally think we may have some ideas

as to what it could be. They tested for several things including limes, thyroid,

syphilis, cats scratch fever, cvr I believe it is called, they did chest x-rays,

and a complete blood panel. SO far of the results that came back nothing is

showing up abnormal. His liver is showing a little bit of something, but the hup

tests are totally normal I believe. This specialist and his GP doctor both say

that he has the classic symptoms of malaria, but we have not been anywhere

outside of LA county. They both said it seprit from one another, so the

specialist is running that test in the morning. But we expect it will come back

negative. This doctor feels that it is an infection of the blood or heart. They

are doing an echo cardio gram in the morning as well to see if there is any

bacteria on his heart. The number one culprit that this doctor can think of is

that Rick had dental work done in July, and he thinks it caused an infection in

his blood stream. We should no more in the next week or so. All the conditions

that are possibilities rite now will require two weeks of IV antibodies most

likely. Any tips for getting him threw such a high dose of antibodies with out

messing something else up? I am going to have him take some acidophilus, but is

there any thing else we should do?

Poor guy is still very miserable, and is becoming slightly jondis. Please keep

him in your thoughts and prayers. And thanks to everyone again.

Amber
