Guest guest
I have removed skin tags in just a few days in the following manner. Get a piece of thread , rub some fresh garlic on it & tie the thread around the tag. Then forget about it. It will fall off or wash off in a few days. fot10s fauxtexas

Guest guest
Pam, " Skin tags " is a simple name for Acrochordon or Cutaneous(skin) Papillomas. They are benign skin colored polyp like growths. Common places for them are armpits, the neck, breasts, eyelids. They are very common in Diabetics. They can also be a warning sign to some people that they are at risk for developing diabetes. I know from personal experience that pregnant women with skin tags have to be careful about gestational diabetes. Guest guest
Is there a safe way to remove them from an eyelid? I have one.. was hoping it would just "go away" but it hasn't changed a bit in over 6 months. My mom had one and had to have it surgically removed (Which I am refusing to do at this time!!!). Would the diet/detoxifying be enough for them to go away or is there any other way??? Guest guest
Wow, Teresa, I didn't know that about skin tags. MD told my that they were an indication polyps(Sp?) in the colon and can lead to cancer. Is the MD right or wrong? Diabetes is a scary thing. A friend just past away this year from it he was 48. Guest guest
The first researchers made the skin tag /diabetes connection back in the 1970s. Their findings were published in the New England Journal of Medicine in 1976. Because of this, some Doctors will give the glucose-insulin tolerance test to any of their patients who have skin tags. De Ann, some Doctors do feel that besides increased chance of Diabetes, the skin tags mean that there is also a higher chance of intestinal polyps and even colon cancer. They all just might have a connection...the body having problems with processed sugar/starch. It looks like Polycystic Ovaries are also connected. Debbie, you do not have to remove skin tags. In most cases, they do not cause any pain, but people remove them because they just don't like having them. Sometimes they might cause pain or irritation due to their location (such as clothes rubbing). My grandmother was a Registered Nurse. She just cuts her skin tags off with a razor blade. Another person mentioned tying them off with a string. My sister and I have both done that. The newer ones are quicker and easier to get rid of than the ones that have been around for many years. I got my first one when I was 12. Most of the people in my family that have died, did so due to diabetes. Same goes for my husband's family. Because of this, most of us are being careful about what we eat. It isn't always easy, especially with the Holiday season! I've had mine treated by the doctor with liquid nitrogen applied with a q-tip, had several treatments, and saw improvement, but their not completely gone. I don't want to bother with any more doctor appointments, but they are so small now that they don't even bother me anymore. Guest guest
You can just snip them off with sharp clean scissors. That's what the Dr. did for my husband. Tanya I try to blog at http://lilbutterball.blogspot.com/ The grass isn't greener on the other side, the brown patches are just in different places or hidden better. Guest guest
This is a great topic. I also have moles that I want to remove. What are the natural remedies for them? I checked the Internet but it seems that they are very expensive. Any suggestions? Thanks, Maria Dr. Maria Eugenia Moratto " May my soul bloom in love for all existence.
