Guest guest
My daughter has been complaining about her chest hurting sometimes when you touch it. She is also complaining about not having enough energy when she runs at school. She is very athletic and was team captain, but she told me a couple of times that her legs buckled. She has had a physical, and her pediatrician had a chest xray done. Her Aunt is a Internal doctor, and could not find anything either. Neither of them checked her blood though. Could she be lacking something that is not in her vitamins? She drinks organic juice & milk, gets fruit, and most of our food id organic, and she gets lots of water. The doctor did say that her blood pressure was low, but not low enough to alarm him, and he also said to give her some salt with her food.(I only use organic season salt, that contains some sea salt, broccoli, and other veggies). The doctor says the chest pain is probably due to growing pains, but the 1st time she complained she was 5. She is also tired every morning and has a hard time getting up, even if she goes to bed early (she loves school, and cried when she had to stay home sick, so she's not faking) Thank you for your input
Guest guest
anemia? If not, wear a holter monitor to check her heart rythm. Also, there is cartilage between the ribs that could be inflamed. That comes from lifting. Does she get enough protein from chicken, etc. Best wishes. --- On Sat, 8/30/08, Winona <louisonline2 wrote: Winona <louisonline2 Tired 10 year old Saturday, August 30, 2008, 2:09 PM My daughter has been complaining about her chest hurting sometimes when you touch it. Guest guest
My friend has similar symptoms and her MD told her to eat a lot of salt on her foods and that the salt she eats must contain iodine to be effective. --- On Sat, 8/30/08, Winona <louisonline2 wrote: Winona <louisonline2 Tired 10 year old Saturday, August 30, 2008, 2:09 PM My daughter has been complaining about her chest hurting sometimes when you touch it. Guest guest
Unfortunaltey Sea Salt is not as high in Iodine as some believe; although Sea Salt does have some Iodine; this is because Sea Salt is dehydtated and the sun depletes Iodine; in this case of Tired 10 yr. old year; I would get an EKG; then add Sea Salt;SeaWeed and B Vitamins , Alison Bliss <naturalhealthmom wrote: > > My friend has similar symptoms and her MD told her to eat a lot of salt on her foods and that the salt she eats must contain iodine to be effective. > > --- On Sat, 8/30/08, Winona <louisonline2 wrote: > > Winona <louisonline2 > Tired 10 year old > > Saturday, August 30, 2008, 2:09 PM My daughter has been complaining about her chest hurting sometimes when > you touch it. Guest guest
Keep looking for answers. Get either an Osteopath or Chiropractor to look at her alignment. When the ribs are out that can cause inflamation around the rib heads. Anemia could also explain some of the symptoms. a pale tongue can be an indication of not enough dark green veggies or iron. Acupuncture takes a look at pulse points some will look at the tongue. Have they taken a look at her thyroid. when the thyroid is in trouble many times weakness/tiredness can be one of the symptoms. --- On Sun, 8/31/08, bk <doglover894 wrote: bk <doglover894 Re: Tired 10 year old Sunday, August 31, 2008, 9:01 PM anemia?
