Hey Butch,

Got any more of that to sell in small amouts to us little people? I have some

turkish Oregano oil that someone gave me and I've been diluting it with XVolive

oil and giving it to friends. Always nice to have more and the really good

stuff. i DO notice a difference between the taste of the different kinds and

batches. I'd rather mix my own with olive oil. Thanks, Diana of Dewbery Hill

years to the USA .. 150 of it is already sold to one buyer in Canada.

What makes it the finest is the Carvacrol level is around 82% .. this is

not a norm and the reason it is that high is because a new contract was

let for the harvest (brokers work the peasants in such contracts) and

the new broker is trying to make a good first impression .. so the raw

materials were all leaf .. no stems and stalks as is the norm on harvest

of any wildgrown crop when the picker is paid by the kilo for effort.

twice I've tried it with bronchial infections...following Butch's 'killer

protocol' internal use of 30% dilution two or three times a day...

both times I've ended up in the hospital, with pneumonia, or bronchial

pneumonia.

it doesn't work for ME....

It seems to me that once an infection is in the lungs it is in a more

advanced stage and taking the oil through the stomach won't touch it.

My experience with bronchitis is that I need to inhale something in

fine particles (nebulized form) to get it into the lungs. I have used

colloidal silver though I think essential oils could also be inhaled

in this way, Have recently been trying frankincense in a nebulizer

for this. The oregano oil seems to work best at the beginning stages

of infections (colds, flu, etc.)

This is a good point Michael. I am taking the sbt seed oil for a 2 yo

infection that is in my bone and bloodstream. Along with an antibiotic.

We'll see. I will be updating my site page as things pro or re-gress.

Yep! I definitely agree Michael.

It is much easier to nip anything in the bud, especially something like

that, rather than try to get rid of it once it sets in :(

At the very first sign of any illness I start my whole routine of

herbal/vitamin wellness dosing (and eating appropriate foods).

My family doctor - Philip Incao, M.D. an Anthroposophic physician, is

also big on homeopathy, and he has a very wonderful home remedy kit with

detailed instructions to follow and that has worked well for us too when

necessary. Thankfully its not been a regular need :) Okay, I will admit

that during this last pregnancy I seemed to get sick if someone sneezed

a mile away from me, but once baby got here my immune system came back

full force and I've been able to keep the family healthy too by nipping

illnesses in the bud with good food, herbs, vitamins, eo's and

homeopathy.

But I digress ... the oregano oil also seems to work well on long

standing infections .. like that sinus infection that hasn't truly

cleared up for 5 years, or that 30 yr toe nail fungus that has been

plaguing a foot (my grandfather was prescribed oregano oil by his doctor

like a dozen or so years ago for something - I don't remember what - but

I do remember him being so happy because the " side effect " was his 35 yr

old toe nail fungus totally cleared up, never to return ;)

Have a great weekend folks!

I was also taught that overuse of exterior releasing herbs in a qi xu pt

before illness is detrimental, even allowing wind evil to invade more

easily. Thus I question the use of Ge Gen Tang + Gui Zhi Tang as a

preventive (Alon?).

Alon,

what is weak confirmation? But i do think it is an overstatment to

say that gzt is a yin and yang tonic. I see it harmonizing various

yin and yang aspects of the body when combined with other herbs, but

have never seen it as a tonic... can you supply some references?

in Japan, I did hear it in china as well. In china i saw a Dr nick named gui zhi

tang Dr. He used to say that depending on how you play with dosage of the herbs

the formula changes into either a more Yin or Yang tonic. A tonic that is not

cloy and can engender fluids, warm the yang, vitalize the blood, and secure yang

in cases of floating yang or Yinfire. I have seen him use it as a base formula

for almost any disease you can think of

Hi Butch,

I saw that you have three different oregano EO's. What are the

differences of those?

I'm wondering if I should bring Oregano EO with me for our summer

trips. If I wipe hotel bathrooms with oregano oil, does it work to

prevent some nasty staff that might be there?

Thanks in advance.

Janet, just wondering why you give Neem Oil to your dogs. I use this to spray

my tomato plants for aphids and red spiders...

Hey - enjoy your posts immensely on the oil.... list.

Just went to your website, and cannot find where to order oregano oil in

quantities larger than the 20 ml.....I could have sworn I visited same

awhile back, and didn't have any trouble.

What am I missing? I was going to get 4 ounces. Will I have to get a

second mortgage?

Thanks

Jeanne

Hello, has anyone had good experience using oregano oil? I like to

keep it on hand in my cupboard, and have found it to be awesome!

I have never actually prepared it myself, but buy it from health food

store. You can get it pure or diluted with olive oil. It has such

good properties. I have used it for anti-fungal purposes, and much

more. It's a must have! KassyR
