Guest guest
Has anyone found that they replaced a bad habit (or two) by replacing it with a good habit? If so, what did you replace? This quote has given me some new direction for today, as I've got several bad habits I need to get free from: " You leave old habits behind by starting out with the thought, 'I release the need for this in my life'. " -- Dr. Wayne W. Dyer minimalisticliving/ " in my dreams, your dreams come true.... "

EFT is Emotional Freedom Technique, one of the most exciting self-help methods ever and quite literally free at your fingertips. As a rank amateur I have helped people overcome life-long phobias and removed the pain of wasp stings, instantly. It keeps blowing me away, yet I have to remind myself to use it for my own life. I may just have to invest in some DVDs so I can " Borrow benefits " by tapping along with someone else. Get your free " get started " package here: http://www.emofree.com/a/?875/1 Explore the ever-growing website and read some case histories, you will understand why people are so excited over it. There is also an easy to follow powerpoint presentation in the files of the group. The other helpful thing is to use the FlyLady approach: one new habit at the time, don't try to do it all at once or you feel overwhelmed and burn out in no time. You can do anything for 15 minutes! A daily twenty minute walk that you actually DO is worth more than a 10k hike on the weekend that leaves you exhausted on the couch for days, with the idea that you don't like exercise after all. I just love FlyLady. It is an approach to life, not just a way to keep your house in order. http://FlyLady.net Good eating habits are easier to adopt when you don't have a large backlog of nutritional deficiencies. The right supplements can help reduce cravings, balance blood sugars, and increase energy so you actually feel like taking that walk. If you tell us more about which bad habits you'd like to break we might be able to come up with some hints. Ien in the Kootenays, who talks a good talk but needs to start doing daily Yoga again. http://freegreenliving.com http://wildwholefoods.net
