Guest guest
If you feel tired all the time, if you wake up just as tired (or more tired) than you were when you went to sleep, if you regularly have vivid and horrifying nightmares, it might be sleep apnea! Consult a sleep apnea specialist. I had been complaining of tiredness for months... years... was treated for mild anemia, worked on getting my blood sugar under better control, had tests, took sleeping pills, all kinds of stuff THEN got tested for sleep apnea and found that, yes, I would stop breathing in my sleep. Interestingly enough, by studying my brain waves, they figured out that there was a direct correlatlion between my nightmares and the episodes of not breathing. Possibly the lack of air triggered the nightmares and they, in turn, made me wake up and start breathing again! If you feel tired all the time, consider being checked for sleep apnea! It's made a real difference in my life!! - Anna
