Guest guest
I haven't tried it, but am now interested in doing so. Google 'watermelon fast' and you'll get lots of information about it. I've got an older Champion juicer that I'm very happy with. I also have one of the VitaMix older (stainless steel) units that does a great, although different, job. Lots of best wishes on your quest to better health. Tom Cox Bakersfield, CA _____ On Behalf Of Anna L. Juarez Wednesday, August 06, 2008 8:07 AM [sPAM] Watermelon juice cleanse I'm curious if anyone has tried a watermelon juice cleanse? The owner of an alternative health bookstore once told me about it. You juice the entire watermelon, she said, including the rind. She warned me that you feel like you have the flu for 2 days but, after that, feel great because it got a lot of toxins out of your body. She recommended that I try it. I didn't have a juicer at the time. Now I bought that juicer that they advertise on TV, the Jack LaLane juicer, and I'm disappointed with it. I had a juicer years ago that I bought for less money and from a local store that worked better than this Jack LaLane juicer. I doubt that this thing could handle any kind of rind much less watermelon rind. Before I go out and buy a hardier juicer just to juice watermelon rind, could anyone tell me if they've heard of or tried this watermelon cleanse and, if you tried it, how it worked for you? - Anna
