August Theme: The Mystery of Consciousness

 

" More than anything else, the future of civilization depends on the

way the two most powerful forces of history, science and religion,

settle into relationship with each other " (Alfred North Whitehead).

This month, we will explore the realm of consciousness and ways in which

it is the interface between science and spirituality. Some of the

material for our theme will be based on Peter Russell's book, From

Science to God.

Exploring Spirit is a weekly gathering open to all. Each month has a

theme; each week, a topic addressing that theme. The gathering consists

of an introduction of the weekly topic with open discussion, followed by

cleansing passes administered by the healing staff. Refreshments are

served after the gathering.
