Hi. I want to have some houseplants and wanted to know the best ones. I

don't have any sunlight in my room but want some plants in there. I know

some plants don't need much sunlight so was wondering if anyone could help

me.

Hi Kimmy,

I don't get much sunlight in my house either, just indirect light

from windows and room/lamp lighting. I also have a 'black thumb'

when it comes to plants, so I've lost many over the years and just

have to replace when necessary.

One that seem to do well with low light conditions are Philodendrons

(the dark leaf is better), Snake Plant (Mother-In-Law's Tongue),

Chinese Evergreens and Scheflerra (sp?), if it's near a window by

light, good luck!

Plants are so healthy for us to have indoors both phsically and

mentally :)

Try spider plants! Endlessly forgiving, grow fast, don't need sun and

purify the air.

If you ask around I am sure you'll find someone to give you a baby.

They get out of hand easily.
