Guest guest
Raw garlic for HBP does work indeed. Only reason I do not use it, as my husband and a few people at work have told me they could smell garlic on my breath, and no matter what I did, it was still there, and that is not a good thing when working with public. If anyone has a remedy for the smell of garlic on breath, please let me know, as it is easier than what I do to control high blood pressure. I tried eating parsley, mouth washes, etc. nothing helped. Guest guest
Hi, DM - have you tried chewing on cloves? My husband gets really offensive breath when he eats onions or garlic, and chewing on cloves (whole) is the only thing that makes it go away, plus gives him really pleasant breath. Guest guest
What I recommend to people is to cut the cloves in little pieces and swallow them as pills in the middle of a meal without chewing on them. Guest guest
To chew is always the best, but I know people who just cut the cloves in pieces and swallow them as pills and obtain a very good result in lowering their high blood pressure. Remember to have the garlic in the middle of your meal, never with empty stomach. Rena - Anna L. Juarez Wednesday, July 09, 2008 7:43 PM Eating raw garlic Do I have to chew up the garlic or can I swallow the pieces of garlic whole, like pills? Just curious if they'd be as effective if I swallow them without chewing them up, I know some things need to be chewed to release the health benefits as the food mixes with your saliva.... , " evergreengarden " <evergreengarden wrote: > > There are many things that you can do to lower your blood pressure - from good nutrition and avoid constipation to proper exercise and relaxation plus some herbs. > Among all them, to eat 3 raw garlic cloves with your meals every day, makes wonders. > I'm talking exactly about fresh raw garlic and not garlic oil, or cook garlic, or garlic powder. > When you start eating the 3 raw garlic cloves per day, check your pressure because It will go low and you soon will stop taking the drug. > > Rena > >
Guest guest
Herbs such as parsley and cilantro do a fine job of dealing with the garlic smell, you can simply chew a hand full with the garlic, that generally works. Hope this helps, Tym , Teddyberen wrote: > > Raw garlic for HBP does work indeed. Guest guest
When I was killing off my candida, I ate lots of raw garlic. Here's what I did to avoid the horrid breath - I chopped up the garlic into little pieces, put it in a few ounces of water, and drank it down before bed. I never had problems with garlic breath. DO NOT CHEW IT, just swallow it. Might want to try it and see...
